So, again, you have a cold, sinus problem, or the usual seasonal afflications and you are at your wits end of knowing what to do to improve your resistance to the germs and 'things that are going around'. You have heard of herbal remedies, apple cider vinegar, honey, and other tonics that can boost your immune system, have you tried them? Do you know what to look for when shopping for a tonic to improve your health?
My guests are Amy Huebner and Dana St. Pierre of Shire City Herbals which makes and sells Fire Cider in the Northest. They had an old recipe, adjusted it to taste and updated the components to bring a Fire Cider to market that is potent and palatable for customers today.
If you have a concept for a business, can work with others to see it through, and believe in the product, you can bring a product to market in your local area that will greatly support the local people. The weather in the Northest can bring many seasonal challenges, the people are all about natural and organic foods therefore Shire City Herbals is growing a cult following.

Over the centuries, vinegar has been used for many purposes: making pickles, killing weeds, cleaning coffee makers, polishing armor, cleaning glass and dressing salads. It's also an ancient remedy to relieve any ailment you can think of. In recent years, apple cider vinegar has been singled out as an especially helpful health tonic. While many of the medicinal uses of vinegar are unproven (SO FAR), a few do have medical research backing them up. Some studies have shown that apple cider vinegar could help with several conditions:
kill head lice ~ reverse aging ~ ease digestion ~ wash toxins from the body ~ obesity ~ diabetes ~ wart removal ~ disinfectant ~ helps with jelly fish stings ~ allergies (including pet, food and environmental) ~ sinus infections ~ acne ~ high cholesterol ~ flu ~ chronic fatigue ~ candida ~ acid reflux ~ sore throats ~ contact dermatitis ~ arthritis ~ gout....just to name a few

I used to spend my weekends partying until daybreak just to fall into another mundane work week. Now I spend my weekends repairing past damage as well as educating myself on new ways to better my health. I do not always make the healthiest choices, just like anyone else, but as I approach 30 I am learning how important it is to make it more of a priority.
I treat my body like an ongoing holistic experiment, trying out new ways to heal damage of the past as well as promote longevity and beauty in the future. I have really started enjoying this process and look forward to sharing my journey with everyone.
On this episode of Breathe Sexy Live I will be discussing yoga and meditation, sleep and natural products that have changed my life.
