"I love boxing. I love Hallmark movies. I love fishing. I love scrapbooking. Nope, I've never fit into the boxes people have wanted to put me in." ~Robin Caroll is definitely a contradiction, but one that beckons you to get to know her better.
Born and raised in Louisiana, Robin is a southerner through and through. Her passion has always been to tell stories to entertain others. Robin's mother, bless her heart, is a genealogist who instilled in Robin the deep love of family and pride of heritage--two aspects Robin weaves into each of her 16 published novels. When she isn't writing, Robin spends time with her husband of twenty+ years, her three beautiful daughters and two handsome grandsons, and their character-filled pets at home--in the South, where else? She gives back to the writing community by serving as Conference Director for ACFW. Her books have finaled/placed in such contests as the Carol Award, Holt Medallion, RT Reviewer's Choice Award, Bookseller's Best, and Book of the Year.
On her faith, Robin says, "I love Jesus and will follow Him wherever He leads me."
An avid reader herself, Robin loves hearing from and chatting with other readers. Although her favorite genre to read is mystery/suspense, of course, she'll read just about any good story. Except historicals! To learn more about this author of deep South mysteries of suspense to inspire your heart, visit Robin's website at www.robincaroll.com.
Beth Wiseman is the best-selling author of the Daughters of the Promise series and the Land of Canaan series. Having sold over 1.3 million books, her novels have held spots on the ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) Bestseller List and the CBA (Christian Book Association) Bestseller List. She was the recipient of the prestigious Carol Award in 2011 and 2013. She is a three-time winner of the Inspirational Readers Choice Award, and an INSPY Award winner. In 2013 she took home the coveted Holt Medallion. Her first book in the Land of Canaan series--Seek Me With All Your Heart--was selected as the 2011 Women of Faith Book of the Year. Beth is contracted with HarperCollins Christian Publishing into the year 2018, and she has published twelve novels and nine novellas to date.
As a former newspaper reporter, Beth was honored by her peers with eleven journalism awards, including first place news writing for The Texas Press Association. She has been a humor columnist for The 1960 Sun in Houston and published articles in various publications. However, writing novels is where her heart is. She left her job as a journalist in 2008 to write novels fulltime.
Beth has a deep affection for the Amish and their simpler way of life, and while she plans to continue writing Amish love stories, she is also branching out into other areas. Her first non-Amish, contemporary--Need You Now--released in April 2012 and landed on the CBA Bestseller List. She enjoyed writing the story based in a town near where she lives, and she chose another small Texas town for her next non-Amish contemporary--The House that Love Built--which is based in Smithville, the same quaint town where movies such as Hope Floats and Tree of Life were filmed.

There’s No Hiding in Cyberspace
The year is 1994, the dawn of the Internet Age, when companies from Silicon Valley to London are fighting to claim the billions to be made on the new information highway.
Peter Ellis, an aggressive investigative reporter struggling to repair his damaged reputation after being framed for rigging a story, attends the Consumer Electronics Show and learns that a skilled programmer known for cracking secure computer code has mysteriously disappeared.
Peter’s quest to find the missing programmer unwittingly pits him against a brilliant hacker and deranged killer with an agenda of his own: taking revenge on the man who ruined his life—computer industry luminary David Lockwood—who is now poised to introduce a product that will change the Internet forever.
As Peter is drawn into the deadly game of betrayal and murder, he is faced with losing everything he holds dear: his career, his one true love, even his own life. Can he find the programmer’s encoded disk—which the holds the key to the killer’s identity—before his luck runs out?

Melody is probably most loved for the songs she’s written. “There Is a Redeemer” is found in church hymn books around the world, and reports of it being sung in villages in Africa and Asia are plentiful. She has also composed many other standards including, “Make My Life a Prayer To You”, “You Are The One,” “Rushing Wind,” and “The Lord Is My Shepherd.”
Melody’s life is an adventure that just keeps unfolding. Besides writing songs, she is also known internationally as an author and a minister. She is fearless when it comes to tackling difficult issues and bold in her travels. She has been to over thirty nations to speak at retreats, conferences, and church services, as well as ministering to men and women in prisons, refugee camps, remote villages, leper colonies, underground churches, and those living in war zones.
Her best-selling book, No Compromise: The Life Story of Keith Green, has become a must-read classic, translated into numerous languages. To learn more about Melody, her book and ministry, visit www.lastdaysministries.org.

This week was a little strange for me as I don't like controversy but each new current event post I saw on Facebook, Twitter and online blogs, etc. raised a different issue...is it me or has the world gone crazy! I made a few decisions regarding some of the issues including to no longer watch a television series that I was very fond of! Oh well, It's time to take a stand.

Business & Ministry Shaping the Future Together
My Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

The History of Christianity #63
Our History of Christianity Scripture verse today is 1 Corinthians 1:26-27 which reads: "For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty."
Our History of Christianity quote today is from John Wesley. He said: "Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can."
Today, in the History of Christianity, we are looking at "Christian Life" (Part 1) from Dr. Justo L. Gonzalez's fine book, The Story of Christianity (Volume 1).
When telling the story of Christianity, one must always remember that the sources themselves are not a fair representation of all that was taking place. Since most of the surviving documents deal with the work and thought of the leaders of the church, or with persecution and conflicts with the state, there is always the tendancy to forget that these writings present only a partial picture, saying little of the life and faith of the rank and file, or of their religious practices. Furthermore, when one attempts to reconstruct the rest of the picture, one is faced with an almost total lack of sources, and must be content with piecing together bits of information.
The Social Origins of Early Christians
The pagan writer Celsus once complained that Christians were ignorant folk whose teaching took place, not in schools nor in open forums, but in kitchens, shops, and tanneries. Although the work of Christians such as Justin, Clement, and Origen would seem to belie Celsus' words, the fact remains that, in general, Celsus was telling the truth...
At times, individuals do not heal, even when all the medical circumstances are right for healing. We are complex beings and there are many factors that play into why we become ill and how and why we do heal. Medical Intuitive, Lisa “Grace” Christian will talk about past cases where individuals did not heal and what it was that blocked their healing.
As a medical intuitive, Grace uses her heightened sense of intuition to see inside the body to the core of an illness or disorder – as well as factors that initiate illness. She helps clients see the whole picture so they can understand their blocks to health on other levels.
Listen and learn how you can heal your body and your life. This is more than the language of your body . . . it is the language of your soul learning.
Lisa “Grace” Christian began practicing meditation while still in the corporate world, and believes it is what led her to the work she has been doing as a medical/spiritual intuitive for over 16 years.
Grace left the corporate world, and began studying healing. Eventually, she began to see images of areas of disease or illness inside the body of clients, as well as images indicating what had caused an illness.
Other information began to come, such as images describing the person's unique gifts, what was happening on their life path, and so much more.
Helping people learn to develop and trust their own intuition is one of Grace’s primary objectives as she feels it is imperative that each of us learn to use our whole brain to make wise choices in life and bring to us solutions to the complex issues that we face in our world.
