A Black Man from A White Mans Perspective

    in Radio

Today on Rockafellaz Radio we go a deeper into the realm of realness, logic, misunderstanding and understanding.

It has seemed to me that if a White man has control of something, and a black man or other minority is being accused  of something and proof shows the innocents, why is the outcome so expected? Why is it that most of the time we already know how the ending will be. Who is responsible, the black man for being at the wrong place at the wrong time or the white man, for over stepping power of authority?

What is it in the industry? Do White gay adult filmstars get paid more than black and latin? There are companies out there that do exsist that even seem to demoralize blacks, but in a way try to make them feel as if they are special or they stand out. But whos responsible for this view? The models or the person the are working for?

Understand, that todays show is about the view and perspective of White men against Black men.  This is not a place to excerise racism and it will not be accepted or tolerated on the show.  Any racial comments or slurs will be prohibited and the person stating them will not be allowed to continue speaking on the show.  At the same time, you are free within those boundaries to discuss what your point of view.

Special Guest Co-Host - Dwight Allen O'Neal, Lucky from Lucky Star Blog and Creative Director, Choreographer and Performing Artist, Jamal George

All that and more, here on Rockafellaz Radio. Talk that Keeps it 100!!!

Sheena Grobb Canadian singer and international writer Dyal Bailey

    in Women

    Sheena Grobb
“It is without a doubt a masterpiece of songwriting and soundscape. Really incredible, soulful music. She will definitely get a huge audience in time, trust me.” Alex Wharton, Abbey Road Studios. A songbird from the age of two, songwriter at ten, with 3 albums under her belt, a nomination for the Western Canadian Music Awards, and over 500 tour dates across Canada, the US, and the UK, Sheena Grobb (one of Canada's best kept secrets) is spilling over. With the release of her newest album The Breakless Heart mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, and a life changing music video created by Lindsey Nelko (past choreographer with So You Think You Can Dance), Sheena is embarking on her most meaningful project yet – The Living Compassion Project – inviting others to “unlock their lives” through sharing their stories… and she begins to share hers.
Her writing journey continued from journalism to editing a newspaper, completing two novels, writing a humor column, publishing a humor book, and finally, screenwriting.
Soon discerning the chaff from the grain in that industry, she discovered Craig Kellem, script consultant extraordinaire. Craig and his daughter Judy Kellem taught Dyal how to master the screenplay form. She wrote three award-winning scripts in a year and a half.
