My name is Eleanor Walk. I am 36 yrs young and loving life. I was born December 18, 1977. I've been married 17 years and have two kids. A son 16 and daughter 8. I was raised by my grandparents. I joined the Air Force at the age of 19. That is where Elleete Creations was born. I use to do hair and make things in the military. I've always been creative. If it isn't writing, designing clothes, painting, it's something! I love being creative. It wasn't until I went natural and started to embrace my true self I realized that was the me that had been trying to get out all along! Becoming natural was more than the hair on my head, it was an awakening to my spirit!

Why are Black Women so Ashamed of Their Hair?

    in Entertainment

immaDstarra- In 2009 I discovered natural hair vloggers on YouTube and it changed my life. I decided that I would go natural and document my journey with a channel of my own. Realizing I may never have a big fro or waist length hair, I decided to make my own styles. I had no prior experience styling hair so my early designs were inspired from styles I had seen.  However as I progressed on my journey I can truly say that I now have a style that is truly my own. My greatest joy has come from the comments I receive on YouTube of women telling me how I inspired them and gave them confidence to love themselves and their natural hair.

Should I Henna My Natural Hair?

    in Fashion

Amber Frank- I decided to follow my passion and Kynxx Natural Hair Styling was started September 2010.  My time as a natural hairstylist has exposed me to different products and through this exposure; it moved me toward my creation of River of Jordan, my organic all natural hair and skin care line.  The basis of Kynxx has always been to specialize in heat free natural hair care and styling with a preference of extension free natural hair styling. My vision for Kynxx is not just to be the best hair stylist I can be, it is to educate women on how to take care of their Afro-textured hair in the following ways:
    1.    Build a routine/regimen that is consistently followed to obtain healthy hair.
    2.    Inform women that healthy hair starts from within.
