Hon Chishimba Kambwili is the Minister of Youth & Sport and serves as member of parliament for Roan constituency. Many sports analysts and commentators have argued for a while that Zambia has experienced an in-balance in the sponsorship and administration of football and other sports disciplines, with the former getting the greatest attention. The national team has recently had it's French coach, Herve Renard, terminate his contract before its expiration; was there a breach on his part? What is the PF government's policy in enhancing other sports disciplines and infrastructure? Has Zambia given preference treatment to national soccer team players based abroad in comparison to their counterparts in other athletic disciplines? Hon Kambwili joins us to discuss these wide ranging issues and the preparations the nation is making for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

VOICES OF ANAKAZI
On Voices of Anakazi we are speaking to the Youth at YWCA Zambia, Chishimba Musonda and Anita Ngwira. During the recent trip to Zambia Anakazi held a Social Media/Branding session with the Youth at YWCA Zambia and met with a group dynamic young women and men who are working to change the world! Chishimba Musonda and Anita Ngwira are co-founders of Child Relief and Development a project that was established on the 14th of November, 2011. It was initiated by a group of youths that came together to help improve the lives of children inZambia, paying particular attention to orphans and vulnerable children.
Child Relief and Development is also a youth empowerment project as it provides the youth involved with employment and the ability of giving back to their society in relation to Zambia’s policy of being a Christian nation, Child Relief and Development is a Christian organization and all its members are Christians.
For the country’s two top political parties, an important political lesson was spelled out in bold letters on September 20. President Elect Michael C.Sata secured support among the youth on the back of campaign promises of creating more jobs and his criticism that Banda's government failed to let ordinary Zambians share in the proceeds from the country's copper mines. Harrison Musonda and other political pundits look at the way a national election was won. Why did the people vote the way they did? What does this now mean?
