    in Spirituality

After 5 and 1/2 years Terri Horman, stepmother of Kyron Horman who is still missing since June 4th 2010, has decided to speak to the media. WHY?  You have to ask yourself why is she suddenly talking?  Without lawyers by her side?  Withour lawyers clearing what she says. Why is she NOT talking with police enforcement?  What is she saying?  The first interview was granted to People Magazine, than ABC. Tune in to the show tonight Wednesday January 27, 2016 at 6:30pm EST  to hear my review of the interviews. We will talk about body language, deception and her choice of answers.

Noah Chamberlin, 2 years old was dropped off at grandma's house, went for a hike and ended up dead in Pinson, Tennesee. Last week I did a profile of little Noah and told you here on the show that Noah was a Gemini and that his ruling planet Mercury was retrograde and that he would be found. The next two days the Moon was in his sign of Gemini and I said he had a good chance of being found and that he would be found by Monday the 25th as Mercury was going direct. This in fact did happen as he was found the following day. He was found in a clearing a mile and a half from where the grandmother said he was lost. Tune in for more on his case.

Making  A Murderer is a mini series by Netflix that has everyone talking about the Teresa Halbach Murder from October 31, 2005. Overcoming Fear to Find Family with Raven Baca

    in Self Help

Raquel Benavidez welcomes Raven Baca, crafting genius and wonderful mom. Raven has been in my family for over 12 yrs. She is is my son’s stepmother and yes I consider her family. She has been a huge part of the success and love our family shares. Raven will be sharing with us how she overcame her initial fear and insecurities about being a new wife, a new step-parent and having to deal with me, the ex-wife. We’ll be sharing our experience of how two women, who must would expect to be adversaries, changed it all and became each others strongest allies.

Sharing our family story is so very important to both of us. We understand how difficult it can be to blend families and for everyone to find their space and more importantly, their value to the family unit. Raven is a blessing to all women out there taking on the beautiful task of not just loving and raising their own kids, but loving and raising someone else’s kids, just as your own.

Raven Baca lives in New Mexico with her husband, Anthony Baca and their four children, AJ, Quinton, Zoe and Aubry.

Raquel Benavidez is a blended, broken and dysfunctional family survivor. She has flourished in creating her own new family dynamic. One that is filled with love, support and acceptance for all. Connect with her on Facebook at It’s a Family Affair

"Men Talk Monday" Why We Still Don't See Working Men as Fathers

    in Family

While mothers will likely get much of the attention for their flood into the workplace and the barriers they still face, fathers will at least partially share the spotlight. This comes after a few smaller meetings, including one on working fathers specifically. Fathers, on the other hand, are a sure bet. While women with children make less than childless ones, fathers actually make more than men without kids. We still don’t see men as children’s caregivers, inside or outside of the home. Even the government has a problem with this: The Census counts mothers as the “designated parent” no matter what the actual family situation may be and only counts dad’s care if mom is gone.  Fathers increasingly want to be fathers. Pew found 46 percent of fathers felt that they don’t spend enough time with their kids, compared to less than a quarter of mothers. They are equally stressed about balancing their work and their families. Two-thirds of fathers in a 2011 survey wanted to split childcare duties with their spouse.

And yet of those same fathers, two-thirds admitted that their wives provided more care. The reality is that no one can really do enough in either arena, so everyone is making a choice. It’s just that the choices are different depending on the gender. So how can we give men what they want and let them be parents as well as workers?

  • CHILD HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR, RAISED CATHOLIC, REFLECTS ON The Nostra Aetate

    in Motivation

Please join host Frankie Picasso on Thursday, October 22nd at 1:00 pm EST as she goes on a Mission Unstoppable with guest Lucia Weitzman a child survivor of the holocaust.

As Hitlers armies began to gather up the Polish Jews, Lucia’s parents feared for her safety and rightly so. In their attempt to escape, they decided it best to leave Lucia behind, hidden in plain site. They gave her to a childless Polish Catholic couple to raise as their own, always hoping that they might meet again after the war, but Poland was hardest hit by the Nazis. There were no survivors left behind.

Lucia was born in Bochnia, Poland in 1940. Her Jewish parents perished in the Holocaust and Lucia was raised in the Catholic Church by her adopted parents the Swiateks. Lucia loved the church and had deep and spiritual faith. When she learned that she too was a Jew, she really had no idea what that meant, beyond knowing that everyone hated the Jews. As she grew older, Lucia began suffering anti semitism as a lone Jew in Bochnia, and eventually concluded that she would never be able to marry or have children if she stayed. After escaping detention by Communist authorities in 1961, she immigrated to the United States and married Herman Weitzman, a Holocaust survivor and businessman raised in a traditional Jewish family

Lucia’s life has been documented in her new book The Rose Temple , written by her son Mitchell, which tells an incredible tale of survival, loss, and a love for God that would spur a spiritual search  across the world , not once but several times as she sought answers to life’s most pressing questions.

Pop Culture - Devo and 9/11 - DC Chief still out of Jail?

    in Pop Culture

Hr1  Washington DC police chief won't issue concealed carry permits even though a judge ordered her to. Why isn't she in jail like Kim Davis? The law is the law.

Andrea Nelson, from the Clover Agency, joins Joe to discuss recent news events that you probably won't hear anywhere else.

IN superintendent tries to gut school grading system saying it has a "detrimental effect on communities whose schools are labeled as ‘failing.’”

She may be single and have no children but Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall says she still considers herself a mother and finds term 'childless' offensive. What do you think?

I'd like to say this story is shocking, but lately it seems like anything goes... writer says she was sterilized and had her breasts removed because she doesn't identify as male or female.

Hr2  Jesse Watters asks average Americans if they know who Bowe Bergdahl is. #SMH

Joe rants on... Trump, politics, being informed, refugees, Trojan Horse, European invasion, and our military's hands being tied.

Hr3  The president wants us to believe there is no uncertainty about climate change. Nice try...

Is Baltimore preparing to welcome 10,000 Syrian refugees into their city? Giving them furnished apartments. How about we do that for our homeless veterans?

DEVO singer's tasteless 9-11 wedding. Shameful.

At University of Illinois irrigation system trumped honoring 9-11 dead... briefly. Making noise works people!

John Kline, Don't Decline!: Needs for Success of HR 2268

    in US Government

"Ending Corporal Punishment in Schools Act," HR 2268* is in the hands of "the people" now.  Fathers, mothers and legal guardians and childless adults are empowered now to end the use of "school corporal punishment"                (a euphemism for "pain-based behavior management", the lowest form of discipline one can use upon a "developing human being" to "correct" behavior).

September 3, 2015 will leave HR 2268 with 62 remaining days before reaching its time of expiration.

Valuable information for adults who are responsible and caring about the "body" of under 18-year-olds within American society** when under authority of government-funded employees, such as educators is posted in the "Description" domain of a 10-minute video entitled, "John Kline, please Sign!" produced by The Hitting Stops Here! at:  https://youtu.be/r2RZfmKqRGg.
