    The Child Support Hustle Show

    in Dads and Family

In this episode of The Child Support Hustle Show we're joined by special guest Carnell Alexander a Michigan native about his paternity fraud case. Carnell became a victim of the child support system after an ex-girlfriend named him as the father of her child while applying for public assistance. One of the mandates for women (some men) applying for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) is that they sue for child support. There were several issues with the child support law suit that were not corrected over the span of two decades. We will discuss these issues with Carnell and let him set the record straight in his own words.

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1345

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Richard Sipe from La Jolla, California, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor who earlier spent 18 years as a Benedictine monk and priest. Now married, Richard is devoted full time to research into the sexual and celibate practices of Roman Catholic bishops and priests. That path has lead him to the study of the sexual teaching of the church and its effects on behavior - especially sexual abuse of minors by clergy - and the tangle of sexual problems that some people claim are blocking every religious agenda and destroying beyond repair the credibility of the Catholic Church in sexual matters. The Academy Award winning Best Picture for 2016, "Spotlight," featured his words as part of their investigation into clergy abuse. Richard was trained specifically to deal with the mental health problems of Roman Catholic Priests. In the process of training and therapy, he conducted a 25-year ethnographic study of the celibate / sexual behavior of that population. His study, first published in 1990, is now considered a classic. Richard has published six books that explore these themes, including A Secret World and Celibacy in Crisis.' Widely interviewed by media he's known internationally and has participated in 12 documentaries on celibacy and priest sexual abuse aired by HBO, BBC, and other networks in the United States, United Kingdom, and France. Richard has no professional sympathy for the cardinals and bishops and other ranking church officials who cover up their crimes. "Some of them are so terrible," he says. "I mean the plain lying that I've seen, bishop after bishop saying, 'No, this was never true. I don't know anything. I can't remember anything.' And sometimes the bishop just smiles. One bishop said, 'I only lie when I have to.'"

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1344

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Nikki DuBose from Los Angeles, a child abuse survivor who was later abused as a young professional model. Among other things, Nikki advocates on her web site for better regulation of the modeling industry (she tells me about 40% of models have an eating disorder and that there's a lot of sexual abuse/harassment). Nikki also works closely with Matt Sandusky at the "Peaceful Hearts Foundation," where she serves on the Executive Board and is their Volunteer Director. Nikki says, "I wholeheartedly believe that full recovery is possible, but it starts with speaking out and reducing the shame and stigma that is so often attached to mental health issues." In her upcoming memoir, "Washed Away: From Darkness to Light," due out later this year, Nikki details how being sexually abused as a child led to a seventeen-year battle with serious mental health issues such as eating disorders, depression, self-harm, body dysmorphic disorder, substance abuse and sexual addictions. During her career as a professional model, she encountered a great deal of success, yet that prosperity came with a high price - one that often mirrored the sexual abuse from her childhood. Coming to a place of full healing has not been easy for Nikki, but she says, "Being an advocate is what allows me to wake up every day and feel truly alive. All of that pain that I lived with for so many years is now channeled into making a difference in society. Whatever issues you’re passionate about, use your voice and the resources you have; love yourself first and from there you can help to change the world."

    Swedenborg & Healing Prayer Service

A helpful book to look at is: Swedenborg, Mesmer, & the Mind/Body Connection: The Roots of Complimentary Medicine by Dr. John S. Haller Jr., emeritus professor of history and medical humanities at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He has written a numbers of books, especially on the history of medicine.

In this book, Haller looks at both Emanuel Swedenborg [1688-1772] and Anton Mesmer [1734 – 1815] as possible roots of today’s wholistic healing movements. Swedenborg was 46 years old when Mesmer was born, and Mesmer was 38 years old when Swedenborg died.

    Haller says of Swedenborg:

He has been viewed as a genius whose vision and visions were marks of seminal importance. Along with Leonardo da Vinci, he is one of the great geniuses known to the Western world, a man whose abilities crossed a multitude of disciplines—from science and mechanics.
On the spiritual side, Swedenborg had no equal.

Rev.Payshence Radio-Beltane Special with Alexander Cabot, CTS- Tri-C GH

    in Paranormal

Rev. Payshence Radio- Celebration of the Holy Marriage of the Lord and Lady ..Born in Havana, Cuba on a "old moon" in September, I was the first child born of my mother. She had a miscarriage of her first pregnancy, arising from a hex put on her, one filled with envy and deceit. I grew up knowing that I was born to counteract that spell and save my mother's happiness and life. Living in New York, at a very tender age, I was taught the magickal traditions of a line of men in my family. Within that lineage, my great grandfather and grandfather, possessing initiated Masonic and Spiritual knowledge presented a good influence for me to model myself to. Myself, not of English descent, I was genuinely curious and heart-fully drawn to British Traditional Witchcraft at an early age of eleven, through the writings of Gardner, Leek & Gavin/Yvonne Frost. When I became thirteen years of age, I was initiated in Palo Mayombe of the Congo/Afro Cuban. Then I began my spiritual studies of "El Envangelio De Alan Kardec" at El Templo; La Luz, Cristobal De Jesus, and was crowned on my 19 birthday. My African spirits carried me to be initiated in the Santeria/Yoruba/AfroCuban Tradition. I was the right hand man for an Oriate, Chief High Priest. I was taught the Gardnerian Tradition by the Long Island Line and later to be initiated by Lady Rhea of New York City in 1995 for several years after I devoted all my time to my profession in surgery.

Chasing the Supernatural-Greg is a co-founder and lead investigator for the Cleveland Chapter of Tri-C Ghost Hunters. My first investigation was in 1991. I have been on over 150 investigations including castles in Scotland, Edinburgh Vaults, Waverly Hills, Myrtles Plantation, Crescent Hotel, Lemp Mansion and Stanley Hotel just to name a few. I am a retired police officer after serving 29 years from 1982 - 2011 with the Twinsburg, OH Police Department.
