We will be discussing some personal issues that will help us to understand our positions as husband and wives, and how our position with God is not about having a relationship with each other, or a relationship with God, but knowing what our position in Christ is, so that we can maintain peace and order in our relationships, by developing the abilty to operate in love as God ordained.
EPHESIONS 5: 22-28
Wives, understand and support your husbands in ways that show your support for Christ. The husband provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to his church, not by domineering but by cherishing. So just as the church submits to Christ as he exercises such leadership, wives should likewise submit to their husbands.
Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage.
The question was asked on National Television by a young adult about “where are the "so-called" leaders once the smoke clears?” To take it a step further where are the Church and local leaders? Why does the Church come out to tragic events but all you see and hear are the “so-called” leaders promoting their church or preaching but never offering a solution to solve the ongoing issues in the community? If the Church is part of the Community how come funds going to the church are used to better community by offering afterschool education or skills training? These are some of the questions the youth of today have presented. So what is your take on the issue? Should the Church be doing more if they are for the community? Why do local leaders never offer an active solution that is ongoing?
Solutions that can work if everyone takes responsibility in doing their part.

We will be discussing how to learn to understand the importance of having wisdom to help us to effectively operate in love. Wisdom comes from God and not from our own way of thinking. Without God we cannot extract wisdom to help us in those situations and circumstances where wisdom is needed to keep us from acting like, becoming and ultimately being fools. In order to understand how to operate in love effectively and consistently, we must understand that without God we have no clue in how to be wiser in our dealings with each other, therefore we cannot operate in love without the wisdom of God to help us.
JOB 28:23-28 “God alone knows the way to Wisdom, He knows the exact place to find it. He knows where everything is on earth, He sees everything under heaven. After He commanded the winds to blow and measured out the waters, Arranged for the rain and set off explosions of thunder and lightning, He focused on Wisdom, made sure it was all set and tested and ready. Then He addressed the human race: ‘Here it is! Fear-of-the-Lord—that’s Wisdom, and Insight means shunning evil.’”

Monique is a survivor of domestic and sexual abuse. Monique endured sexual abuse as a child, and physical abuse at the hands of her abuser for years. Monique suffered many visible and invisible scars as a result of her abuse. And although she knew the visible ones would heal it was the invisible ones that hurt her the most. Monique finally got up the courage to leave her abuser, but not before he left her with a permanent reminder of their relationship. Monique’s abuser took a cane and hit her in the mouth and knocked out two of her front teeth, ultimately resulting in her smile being changed.

We will be discussing some personal issues that helped us to come to the realization that men and women are not that different when it comes to operating in love, or not being able to operate in love. We all face the same dilemmas when it comes to learning how to understand the relationships that we are in with the opposite sex. Men do have the same feelings and thoughts that women have, and as human beings men are not more different in their inability to operate in love as women may believe. It is time that we come to understand more about our sameness and stop concentrating on our differences, because when it comes to operating in love, we all fall short, but we all have been created in God's image, and because God is love, we men and women are love too. We just need to understand this so we can more effectively operate in love the way God has ordained us to, therefore perfecting the ordained Love Walk with each other.
1 Corinthians 11:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Nevertheless, in [the plan of] the Lord and from His point of view woman is not apart from and independent of man, nor is man aloof from and independent of woman.
