Chef Elliott is honored to share the technical skills and culinary wisdom of his friend and colleague, Chef Kevin Ashford.
A native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Atlanta, GA, Kevin enjoys the use of fresh ingredients and partaking in local and international cuisines. He also looks for ways to vary food through the use of additional or different ingredients, oftentimes creating a different product. The same principle helped to spur such an array of desserts at Catered Cakes. Some of the company’s signature desserts include the award-winning New Orleans Style Bread Pudding with a Bourbon-Rum Sauce, Tropical Carrot Cake, Chocolate Mousse Torte and the Island Breeze Cheesecake which was featured in the June 2003 and 2003 Year End issues of Southern Living Magazine.
Join them, as Chef Elliott and CHEF KEVIN discuss THEIR LATEST projects, tour info and personal journeys in the industry. Have you ever felt the pain when your business role conflicts with your personal or family roles? Every business owner wears multiple hats: CEO, marketer, IT consultant, researcher, etc. It's tough enough to manage those roles alongside ordinary family roles, but when life throws you a curveball, the difficulties multiply. Maybe you're responsible for transporting a child to a prestigious and time-consuming new activity that could pave the way for a college scholarship, or maybe you're suddenly facing a family member's serious illness. Whatever the cause, your business can thrive only if you're able to manage your family responsibilities and have energy left over. Listen as Julie shares the perspectives and practical tips she's gained while running her consultancy and serving as caregiver for her father, who is now in the severe stage of Alzheimer's Disease.
Before and after the show, please post your questions for Jory and Julie on Jory's Facebook Business Page.

“Efficiency Management System Coaching” approach of Coaching is designed to help you, the executive, professional of any size or type of organization and you, the business owner, to overcome the feeling of anxiety and overwhelm you get when looking at your desk or work area.
It is a very precise and highly workable set of steps that will get you to assume a new perspective from which to observe your processes and systems. This not only enables you to identify the problem areas but makes it possible to come up with custom tailored solutions that work!
As a starting executive or business owner you developed or adopted certain procedures. At that time these procedures worked quite well for you. However, over time certain changes and growth happened including a whole new set of electronic traffic, but the existing procedures were not designed to adapt to most of that and are now outdated, not working too well and in some cases even have become the problem.
The special coaching approach of the Efficiency Management System Coaching addresses all of this, plus zeros in on the factor that makes the difference between being reactively running your organization / business or being proactively in charge of it. The end result is you running your business / organization instead of it running you!
