Charlie Crist "In his own words"
Guests for next Week
Join Leslie Wimes, Dr. Vincint Polite and Attonry Joseph Haynes Davis as we discuss flip flooping former Governor Charlie Crist! Should we take him at his word or look at his past?
Check out the radio promo commerical here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n1nvicKqME
Charlie Crist will make it official Nov. 4 in St. Petersburg, his hometown.
The former, next Governor Charlie Crist will declare his intentions Monday morning in downtown Straub Park. That's near where he announced in 2010 that he was leaving the GOP to run for U.S. Senate as an independent.
"When you allowed me to be a governor, I worked to be the people's governor every day. You the people were in charge," Crist says, with a beach in the background. "I'm an optimist, but let's face it, the past few years have been tough: government on the fringes, donors and politics above you, the people. You've seen the attacks — against full-time working people and their health care, against women and their doctors, against teachers, public schools and college affordability. And even against the simple act of casting your vote. It's not working. Only you the people can end this nonsense and get us back to common sense. That's the way forward. Tell me how I can help. Share your comments with me here. I'll read every last one. I work for you, the people. Always have and always will."
This week I discuss the Republicans insistence on having an eighth Benghazi investigation. I'll also have an update on the situation with Russia and Ukraine and I will talk about the Boko Haram kidnapping of the 200 girls in Nigeria. If we have time I will discuss some of the other news of the week.
At the end we will have our trademark weekly hall of fame and shame for those politicians and prominent individuals who made great sense or shameful nonsense, respectively. The special theme for our Hall of Fame and Shame this week is Charlie Crist and issues of Racism in the Republican Party.
If you want to write to me and give me your opinion of any topic I cover, write to firstname.lastname@example.org and I may just read your opinion on the air. Again that’s email@example.com
Get together with friends and neighbors to talk about how you're going to elect Charlie Crist this November.
Please invite some friends.

In this edition of Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone we preview the legendary Springfield Mile II! Our guest lineup for this episode is epic!
Charlie Roberts and Scott Parker join us to discuss the AMA Rookies Class of 79 and Friends' involvement in the Springfield Mile II event on Labor Day weekend. They have an amazing weekend of activities planned and we hear all about it.
Jeff Gordon, of Speedway Engine Development Inc, will be calling in to discuss their high-profile win at the Don Tilley Memorial AMA Pro Grand National at Charlotte and his thoughts on the team's approach to the Springfield Mile II. As engine builder, Jeff works closely with Rick Howerton on the Howerton Motorsports/Villa-Esparza/Crosley Radio Kawasaki ridden by National #42 Bryan Smith.
Jared Mees retains the point lead by a narrow six-point margin over Bryan Smith following his disappointing DNF at Charlotte. It was a near mirror image of the results from Harley-Davidson Flat Track at ESPN X-Games Austin. Chasing down Bryan Smith there was a shower of sparks from the tailpipe of the Las Vegas HD/Rogers Racing XR750 ending his race one lap short of completition. Now as the team approaches the Springfield Mile II and the balance of the season, what shall be his strategy? The reigning 2014 AMA Pro GNC1 champion joins us LIVE on the show!

Animals NEVER hide the value they have for themselves and yet... they are also KNOWN to be very kind and caring. Is it possible to be BOTH?
Have you noticed that animals KNOW what they want, are willing to do what it takes to have it and they NEVER twist other people's No into a NO to themselves. And yet... do we judge them as being selfish, uncaring or unkind?
Join Charlie and Suzy as they explore if there is a difference between "Having Your Back" and being selfish, uncaring and unkind. I wonder ... Are animals inviting us to acknowledge that the choice to "Have Your Own Back" is a vital component to actualizing the kindness and caring you be?
