Charles Ramsey: 11:30 mins - until
Tune in May 13 as Stacey Brewer of H. Blu's Word reviews "Tyler Perry Presents Peeples." Starring in Peeples are Kerry Washington, David Alan Grier, Diahann Carroll, and Craig Robinson.
Peeples is a film that is produced by Tyler Perry Studio's 34th Street Films, however, Perry did not direct nor write the film; Tina Chism is the writer and director of the film. Chism got her start on The Cosby Show and made her screenwriting debut with Fox’s 2002 hit Drumline before scripting ATL for WB.
Peeples revolves around the character Wade Walker (Craig Robinson). Sparks fly when Wade crashes the Peeples annual reunion in the Hamptons to ask for their precious daughter Grace's (Kerry Washington) hand in marriage.
Check out the trailer of Peeples: HERE
Stacey will also speak on Charles Ramsey. Some are asking is he a hero or just another media buffoon? Will discuss both sides

The true and inspiring story of recovery from a severe traumatic brain injury. Young executive Angela Leigh Tucker had not expected death that day. Then the unthinkable happened. A truck/car crash killed her husband and left her hanging on to life by a slender, golden thread. At thirty, with her brain severely damaged and the critical C1 & C2 (Atlas and Axis) vertebrae, shoulder and ribs badly broken, she had lost almost "everything." She could have quit but never did. Her recovery team, honored by name, included family, friends, doctors andtherapists. Today she lives independently in NYC and is an advocate for others who have suffered brain injuries.
In the second half, the Right Wing Riot takes over with their own unique brand of Public Service Satire on the political and cultural events of the day. During the live broadcast, hosts and guest welcome your calls at (347) 945-7246 and your participation in the live chat room.

Host Deardra Shuler talks to Charles Bobbit, James Brown friend and manager. Bobbit will talk about his rags to riches story with Deardra. Bobbit also managed Michael Jackson and was the personal advisor to President Omar Bongo of Gabon. Born in 1930, in the back woods of North Carolina, Charles was whisked to Brooklyn, NY by his eldest sister after the loss of his mother to cancer. During his young adult years, he worked as a porter. He later worked for the New York City Transit Authority, laying rails at night. Later he deemed the entertainment industry was an escape from menial labor, although he could neither sing nor dance.
Mr. Bobbit’s first introduction to the realization of his dream was when he first saw Mr. James Brown, “The Godfather of Soul” perform at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY. He was awestruck and proclaimed to his wife that he would one day work as Brown’s Personal Manager. Although thwarted originally, by 1965, he won a job as James Brown's valet and later became Brown's friend and manager up to the day Brown died. The book, "Making it Happen," tells Brown and Bobbitt's story. It was Mr Bobbit who gave James Brown the title, “Godfather of Soul.” Bobbit was instrumental in the arrangement of “Say it Loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud.” and the musical scores for the movie, “Black Caesar,” starring Fred Williamson. Bobbit met President Omar Bongo of Gabon and worked with Bongo's son cutting a few albums. The family hired Bobbit as their advisor taking Bobbit to heights that he couldn’t even imagine. He later worked with Michael Jackson becoming his friend and confidante.

David L. Levy (b. 1936) is a children's rights activist, per the National Partnership for Community Leadership (NPCL) in presenting Levy with the 2011 Charles Ballard Advocacy Award at NPCL's conference in Washington, D.C. In 1985, Levy co-founded The Children's Rights Council in 1992. Levy has authored four books, all on different topics, fiction and non-fiction. Levy is co-director of the Children's Rights Fund for Maryland, an organization advocating joint custody (shared parenting) for children of separation, divorce, and never-married parents. The Fund also provides low cost attorneys for parents in need affected by custody and access (visitation) issues. Levy was appointed by MD Governor Martin O'Malley to the Child Custody Decision-Making Commission in the Fall of 2013. The Commission has held hearings around the state, and is now working on legislative proposals to be presented to the 2015 Maryland legislature. Levy also provides supervised visitations in the Washington, D.C. area and consults on custody related topics in the U.S. and abroad. He also provides job shadowing to help prepare young people for careers and jobs.
Levy attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and University of Florida Law School from which he received his juris doctorate. Levy directed the Board of Trustees to strengthen families and reduce the trauma of divorce to children through supporting legislation and programs which favor Shared Parenting (joint custody) mediation, liberal access/parenting time, and emotional and financial child support. Levy states that there are millions of parents who want to be involved (in their children's lives), but the road is blocked. A noted author, Mr. Levy has written a myriad of articles on the subject of child custody and divorce mediation which have been published in prominent legal journals as well as noted in general interest publications

KNOW THAT NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE & THAT EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE......... The healings and blessings that flow through Lordiel are unpretentious, unrehearsed and straight from the heart, soul and Spirit. The programs are about helping each other ... and finding solutions to that which we seek!!! CJ Golden is co-hosting and discussing near death experiences.
Reflections From Beyond is the true story of Tracy LaCroix who CJ met in Cape Charles, VA on May 3, 2013. Tracy, however, had died on June 5, 2012 – eleven months before their serendipitous encounter. The result of their meeting is this stirring account of a medical team that worked against all hope to restart a flat-lined heart; the patient who came back from the doors of Heaven following his near-death experience, and a stunning example of the way in which the Universe conspires to send us messages that we should not/cannot ignore.
After meeting Tracy, interviewing the experts and writing the book, CJ’s life, too, has been forever changed – in a most positive way. And she sincerely hopes the same happens to you when you read the book and hear her words.
CJ Golden’s book is an excellent introduction to near death experiences.Share Tracy LaCroix’s message of hope, peace and kindness while also pointing out the beauty in the synchronicities that help guide us in our lives. It is a gift to those who are grieving and people everywhere who need to know we are always connected to the universe.
