Hello Every One Thanks for Listening!
It's been extremely busy and crazy as we all have "grinded" through the month of January 2016, and I ask myself: "did we just celebrate Christmas and New Year of 2015!" Now here we go again- lather, wash, and rinse. And ofcourse, we are celebrating and honoring Black History Month. I don't know about ya'll, but I feel like I'm in the Twi-lite Zone!
I encourage you to join me as I share with you some Great History, Fun Facts and Trivias for the whole family to enjoy! Everyone has a "history" and this includes you and I. Have you ever stopped to think or consider how your life or "history" may have inspired others or how you may have impacted someone elses life in a very profound way? WOW, many times, I thank GOD for allowing positive and influential "people" to come into my life and help shape me into the Woman I am today. I believe all of us have something to contribute to our History and Culture, so let's not forget to Honor and Celebrate those individuals who have "paved" the way and made great contributions and Sacrifices for our Land. Celebrating Great History is fun...
This week on Sunday Night Dead we speak with investigator Kelly Tucker about her upcoming documentary as well as celebrate Zombie bowl IV. Join us Sunday 9 eastern on Dead Air.
Tonight we celebrate Junie's Guide Dogs who tirelessly bring through nformation to help locate lost or stolen pets or animals that are being abused. She will also be brining messages of love from your pets as well during her "shot gun" messaging through out the show.
Joining June is her Co Host Susan Littlefield, an amazing woman who never stops each and every day trying to help animals find good homes and stop the abuse. An amazing lady ! You will hear her share some of her work.
We will have a couple of SURPRISE GUESTS to help join in the celebration of life in the Spirit World as June Elaine gives evidence that our animals and loved ones never leave us. They are with us and are trying to communicate with us all the time.
June takes pride in her ability to "talk to the animals" and will continue to work all over the United States helping to support animal shelters and rescue animals . The main goal, however, is to stop the abuse. Her dream of building animal shelters that stay open 24 hrs 7 days a week will come to fruition !
Please bring paper and pen to write down the messages that you recognize to be from your pet or loved one.
Sit back, relax and enjoy hearing June " talk to the animals " from the spirit world !

It's Black History Month and Down South and Dirty want to celebate it in classic Down South and Dirty fashion. We don't want to talk about black inventors and civil righs and slavery in the ways most common to most of us. We want to dig into some really little talked about or studied parts of our history this month. A couple of shows ago we talked a about Repartations you can listen to that show here ------> http://www.blogtalkradio.com/downsouthanddirty/2016/01/24/40-acres-and-a-mule-then-what That started us down a whole other trail and after some reading and study parts of that discussion and others that are so pressing today can be traced back to this period in time. So we are going in! There are so many issues that have their roots here in this era truly we could do a mini series on this and that might happen one day. The question of the black man and woman in America hasn't been fully answered so we are going back and having a very important discussion on this topic. So Join us as we talk about the Reconstruction Era Then and Now on Down South and Dirty as we Celebrate Black History Month. Yeah we still gonna talk about Bernie in our Bern Treatment and you know we gonna tie it all together with the topic too....so join us and call in 657 383 0995! It Down South and Dirty Baby!
Hey there Tea Sippers! Today I am going to open your eyes and perhaps your consciousness to a journey that some of our bruthas and sistahs are on that doesn't get its proper respect or just due. As a part of Black History/Herstory Month, we have to be ALL INCLUSIVE of the richness of what we have to offer the populace.
As we are embarking on the empowerment of the Transgender Community, there is a name that MUST be celebrated and recognized as a trailblaze, pioneer, and front line "warrior" for the equity building of the transgender community. Before there was LaVerne Cox and Janet Mock......there was Tracey Africa!!!
Tracey Gayle Norman-Africa was once the FACE of Ms. Clairol and was the first Black Transwoman Supermodel to strut down the catwalk. Now, after a flourishing career in the fashion industry, she is currently serving as The Mother of The House Africa and embarking on her own Home Decorating business.
Today, I celebrate the HURSTORY of this Icon so bring plenty of crumpets cuz THIS TEA is HOT
