in The Bible
We must train ourselves to think like Christ, if we are to be like Christ. Jesus Christ came to this earth and left Heaven and all its glory. On earth, Jesus made Himself nothing. While He was on earth, He was a Servant. Here on earth, He humbled himself to the degree that He without reserve died a criminal's death. And He did all this for us.When we see the need to serve others, we will look into the concerns of others, there needs to be the utmost subtlety. Everyone at one time or another has wanted something kept secret. When we visit the sick, as we show a tender kindness for them, we shouldn't be too precise in being inquisitive into their medical disorders or their emotions. Circumstances may be such they prefer not to speak about. We should allow them to tell their own stories.

This week we will re-visit one of our most listened to shows...ADDICTIONS!!
Do you have addictions to alcohol, drugs, eating, gambling, shopping, sex/love, co-dependency, etc.?
Been to 12 step programs, counseling, took various meds but still relapsing? There may be an answer!
On May 5, 2015at 8 pm (Eastern) Dr. Jess Armine will discuss addiction and relapse and the common neuro-physiological basis for addictive behavior as well as the genetic polymorphisms that lead to relapse. He will discuss how consistent cravings, "JONESING", or "white knuckling" are what lead up to relapse. Until now, The Build Up To Relapse has been treated predominantly with psychosocial modalities. The physiological causations are downplayed or remain un-attended. Based on the research of Kenneth Blum, PhD & Bill Downs PhD, these physiological and genetic imbalances are key causes of the cravings that build to relapse. Pioneers like, Dr Ben Lynch, Shawn Bean, h and Dr. Jess Armine have furthered the genetic/epigenetic portion of this research
This week Dr. Armine discusses the physiology of all types of addictions, the genetic contributions, and the new non-drug methods of addiction treatment NAAAT (NeuroAdaptive Amino Acid Therapy) and how combined psychological and physiological treatment gives the best prognosis for long term recovery.
READ THIS PLEASE!!!: Guys, I am a great supporter of the 12 Step Programs and other forms of conseling. NAAAT is to treat the physiological "part" of addictions and is best utilized IN ADDITION TO, NOT INSTEAD OF the 12 Step Programs, etc.

Every African-American male in this country who drives a vehicle, or has traveled by bus or plane, either knowingly or unknowingly has been the victim of racial profiling by law enforcement officials. Indeed, African-American males are disproportionately targeted, stopped, and searched by law enforcement officials based on race and gender. Those responsible for enforcement of public laws view African-American males as criminals. Unfortunately, the American justice system has condoned, supported, and in some instances encouraged such actions by law enforcement officials to stop, arrest, prosecute, and incarcerate African-American males. On the basis of race and gender, governmental officials have devised a profile of the typical criminal: black and male.
The term driving while black has been used to describe the practice of law enforcement officials to stop African-American drivers without probable cause. The practice particularly targets African-American males. African-American males are not only singled out while driving, but also while schooling, eating, running for political office, walking, banking, serving as a juror, getting a taxi, shopping, and just being black and a male. The mere fact of being black and male in America is sufficient cause for governmental and private law enforcement officials to abridge the rights of African-American males. This is not to suggest that law enforcement officers can never consider race when performing their job. Just the opposite, where a witness identifies the race and gender of a suspect, it is relevant evidence to consider in an effort to apprehend a criminal. Racial profiling, however, involves a pre-disposition held by law enforcement officers who are members of the majority, to believe that minorities, and particularly African-American males, are engaged in criminal activities; therefore, they are stopped and searched without probable cause or reasonable suspicion.

I have a passion for helping people figure out what they want out of life and then guiding them to create a plan that makes that happen. My focus is on women entrepreneurs who are trying to balance work and family and do it all without losing their minds.
My name is Beau Chatham and I am a Master Coach with The Burris Institute.I am also the CEO & Tribal Leader of Warrior Life Coach, an Atlanta, GA-based executive coaching practice, where I work with business professionals, athletes, and combat veterans.A little bit about my background – I was a commissioned Infantry officer in the United States Army. I am Airborne Ranger qualified, saw ground combat in Grenada during Operation Urgent Fury, and served in numerous other command and training positions.I left military service after 10 years and found myself in the world of biotech and pharmaceutical commercialization, where I marketed injection and oral drug therapies. I also served as a corporate trainer, where I conducted and coordinated medical education programs for sales representative, focusing in the areas of anatomy, physiology, and disease state management. My areas of teaching were in cardiovascular and neurological disorders. It was here, that I was first introduced to the concept of Evidence-Based therapies and how important they are in gaining measurable outcomes. This is what ultimately led me to finding The Burris Institute methods of coaching. remember following the country’s combat actions of post 9-11, not from the newspaper or the talking heads on the TV, but rather through medical journals. Of particular note, I recall the longitudinal studies of Dr Charles Hoge published October of 2004, in the New England Journal of Medicine that addressed the growing mental health burden being produced from extended combat operations. As a warrior and medical educator, I knew that I wanted to help our returning combat veterans, so I started looking in to life skills coaching. The problem was that so many of the life coaching schools insisted that coaching was for “healthy” people and that the emotional states of fear, guilt, and anger were best suited for psychiatry.

- Louise Hay, Author of You Can Heal Your Life
Lynn Smith started her coaching career while she was still a student in the 12-month coaching certification program, Health Coach Training. She launched her programs, websites and global teleclasses as she was preparing for graduation.
Working as a women's weight loss coach, Lynn began to identify specific emotional factors that contribute to emotional eating and being overweight. This resulted in Lynn creating a signature program that focused on shifting those inner issues. Lynn's passion is helping women step into their power and learning to love and value themselves.
That passion led her to become a certified Tapping into Wealth coach, where she specializes in helping women entrepreneurs overcome the inner obstacles to being seen and earning their worth.
My mission is to help women business owners step up, stand out, and earn their worth.
There are some financial self-sabotages that hit women particularly hard:
One is perfectionism
Another is not wanting to be seen. We hide. We don’t want to be in the spotlight. But if you can’t be visible, perfect clients and customers can’t see you.
A third, which is a biggie, is feeling deserving. If a woman has nagging thoughts of “Am I good enough?” it’s sending out the message of “I don’t deserve more.”
Nobody wants to talk about this. But if someone doesn’t, women aren’t going to find the help they need.
If you aren’t experiencing the success you desire, there may be these things at play below the surface.
You can’t change your relationship with money until you change your relationship with yourself.
That’s why I’m here. My mission is to help women entrepreneurs experience success faster than I did.
