Have a real person in the WHITE HOUSE, one from the population: Curtis Clinton

    in Elections

I am unknown but what I say is known. I know that what I say has special significance and foresightedness. You don’t have to be a Politician or a Celebrity to be electable. That is what I am trying to say and prove with my appearance on BLOG TALK RADIO. I may not be charismatic. Charisma may come with the backdrop of the White House. Over 8 years on BLOG TALK RADIO, I have mentioned more correctness and solid reasoning. It is because my feet are on the ground. I don’t have a platform like Democrats, Republicans or other Political Entities. You have to feel the movement on the ground, its vibrations and shaking. Platforms are too high up for many people to touch and be touched by them. Please listen on BLOG TALK RADIO. Please open up your ears to my voicing of ideas and means of resuscitation our quality of living and working and recreation. I would be good in our White House.

Our Country is faced with the big challenge and choice – a non-Politician / non-Celebrity for President. Drain down the money and all of its influence in masking the flaws of all Political & Celebrity Candidates. I am as distinct as all of us: Curtis Clinton – 120,000,000 Write-In Ballots and we will all be in and together. Right now, togetherness and community is needed. We are Americans and not Americans United For Change: More Money being spent for the benefit of a few. Put an end to buying an election..

YVONNE CRAIG aka "BATGIRL" (1937-2015) MEMORIAL SHOW

    in Entertainment

In 1967, William Dozier, creator of the Batman television series, concerned that the show’s ratings were falling, decided to introduce a female character on the side of law & order in an attempt to attract new viewers. He came up with Batgirl, who would help Batman & Robin in their crusade against the malign forces of “guest villains”. For this role, on a par with the caped crusader & the boy wonder, Dozier cast Yvonne Craig. Although Craig, who has died at 78, had then been acting in films and television for a decade, Batgirl gave Yvonne her greatest fame.

The Dynamic Duo became the Tremendous Trio when Craig first appeared in Enter Batgirl, Exit Penguin, aired on 14 September 1967, the start of the 3rd & last season. As Barbara, the librarian daughter of Commissioner Gordon, she's kidnapped by the Penguin, who bullies her into agreeing to marry him. However, unknown to everyone except Alfred, the faithful butler of the billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne, Barbara has a secret crime-fighting identity. Inevitably, she escapes from the Penguin, & rescues the astonished Batman & Robin, who have been hopelessly strung up in the Penguin’s lair. Dressed in a tight-fitting purple and yellow bat outfit with pointy ears, & riding a purple, lace-trimmed motor Batcycle, Craig, playing it straight, immediately entered into the campy, satiric tone of the series. She was also able to match her two co-stars in the self-defence department, accompanied by such onomatopoeic on-screen graphics as POW!, WHAM! and CRR-ASH!.

“I think that they ultimately chose me because of my ballet background,” Craig recalled. “Though they didn’t want me to do my own stunts, I finally talked them into it.”

Join Richard with his special guest host, Robert Amberry, president of the Yvonne Craig Appreciation Society, in this special tribute to Yvonne and her career.

  • Small Giants: Companies That Choose to be Great Instead of Big

    in Spirituality

This week we'll interview Tim Hobbs, the owner of DataConnect Corporation in Centennial, Colorado, and a board member of the Small Giants organization. Why would a business person want to hear about Small Giants? Because every conversation, discussion, event, best practice, workshop and conference is defined by shared values. Because you want to do your part to change how the business world defines success. Because your business is built on passion, great relationships, principle, community and a desire to achieve sustainable growth.

In his book Small Giants: Companies That Choose to be Great Instead of Big, (Paragon 2006) Bo Burlingham observed a set of six common characteristics in the unique and inspiring companies he was examining.

He dubbed the combination of these characteristics to be “business mojo.” The Small Giants Community serves to make these characteristics more common in how small business owners run their businesses.

The Small Giants Community champions the importance of the Return on Values business model and serves to: create a practitioner driven learning experience and community; establish a body of knowledge to support and develop adopters, and influence the business community through media, thought leaders and academia.

Colorado native, Tim Hobbs is a speaker, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has been the CEO of Data Connect Corporation since April 1988. He serves on the board of Small Giants Community, a global membership organization focused on the promotion, implementation and advancement of running a successful values-driven business. Tim is also the President UrantiaUniversity Institute, online classes to actualize the personal potentials of mind, matter and spirit through enlightened study, service and experience.
