Bishop James Long, Archbishop for the United States Old Catholic Church

    in Entertainment

Bishop James was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised Roman Catholic.  He attended a Roman Catholic grade school and it was during the time while he was attending kindergarten that he knew that he had a calling to serve as a priest.  His mother had asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and James pointed at the priest and said, “I want to do what he does.”

From then on, his calling to serve as a priest grew stronger as the years progressed until he decided to join the seminary and begin his formation.

James attended St. Meinrad College but because of financial problems, the school had to close its doors.  Therefore, he transferred to Loyola University in Chicago and graduated.

He continued his priestly studies by joining Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois.  It was during this time that James began working closely with his spiritual director and through prayer, he decided that God was calling him to serve as a priest within the Independent Catholic Church.

Because of his theological differences with the Roman Catholic Church, James felt that it was better to be ordained within the Independent Catholic Church.  This decision was not an easy one and it was a decision that he made out of respect for the Roman Catholic Church and his calling.

He is currently the Archbishop for the United States Old Catholic Church and offers Spiritual and Life help for those who seek his assistance.

Deepertruth: The Catholic Church Was Established Necessary For Salvation

    in Religion

Genesis 17:5 God changes Abrams name to Abraham depicting this truth. Abram spiritually means“Father”, while Abraham means “Father of a host of nations”.

This change from Abram to Abraham is very significant because it points to the seed that would ultimately come, it is a foreshadowing the Messiah: Isaiah 11:1,“But a shoot shall spout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom. The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him”.

Jesse: David’s Father. Stump: After the Babylonian exile, only a stump of the Davidic Dynasty will remain; from it will arise the new shoot, the Messianic King. Also the root meaning of the word bud refers to the word NESER which hits the root of NAZIR which translates toNAZARETH. Jesus would be called Jesus the Nazarene!

Jesus Himself fulfills the prophecies of the Old Testament. What I am addressing at this point is the work that Jesus did. Isaiah spoke of the Lord’s servants: “no weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17

    Armchair Apologist

    in Paranormal

Kristina Rake is a deacon of the United States Old Catholic Church. She received her Master’s Degree in Theology from the prestigious Andover Newton Theological Seminary near Boston and has been teaching scripture, theology, and apologetics to adults for over 15 years. In her own search for the Christianity taught by the Apostles, she found the Catholic Church and converted in 1999 after attending seminary for one year. She became Director of Adult Formation for a Suburban Chicago Parish of over 15,000 people. Deacon was in charge of all adult programming at the church, from adult education series to retreats and community events.

One of Deacon’s responsibilities was the R.C.I.A. program in which adults seek to convert to Catholicism. Here, Deacon Rake worked with people from all religious backgrounds: from Jewish converts to atheists to evangelicals to Mainline Protestantism to no religious background at all. Her experiences teaching Catholic Theology to people from such diverse religious backgrounds grounded her firmly in Catholic Apologetics. Deacon Rake was asked by groups all over her diocese to speak on a variety of apologetics topics and, for 15 years, she taught theology, scripture, and apologetics in area parishes.

In 2014, Deacon Rake entered the United States Old Catholic Church under Archbishop James Long. She was ordained a Deacon on November 8th, 2014, and continues her studies and formation for the Old Catholic Priesthood. Deepertruth: Eucharistic Miracle of Trani, Italy (11th Century)

    in Religion

“Pretending to be Christian, the woman received Communion with the others… and took the consecrated Host from her mouth and transferred the Holy Eucharist to a handkerchief.  Once home she wanted to experiment with whether or not the Blessed Sacrament was bread and put the consecrated Host into a heated frying pan filled with oil. Upon contact with the boiling oil, the consecrated Host miraculously became Bloody Flesh and a hemorrhage, so to speak, would not stop flowing and went from the pan all over the cursed woman and her house. Terrorized, the woman began to scream… and the neighbors ran over to find out the reasons behind her cries…”
    .
The archbishop was immediately informed of the events and he ordered the return of the consecrated Host to the church. That same Cistercian Abbot Ferdinando Ughelli (1670), in his well-known encyclopedic work“Italia Sacra”, wrote in a notation of his seventh volume: “In Trani a sacred Host was fried to the dismay of our Faith…, the true Flesh and Blood of Christ was unveiled in the unleavened Bread which fell to the ground”.

    in Religion

This is how to say the Holy Rosary

The rosary is a form of combined prayer and meditation that has been around for over 1200 years.  The origin of the rosary dates back to the ninth century where Irish monks would recite and chant the 150 Psalms of the Bible as a major part of their worship.

    Turbulent Times 3/24/15 episode 9

    in Current Events

Tonight North and I will be discussing among current affairs, the creation of The Frankfurt School in the early 29th century.

The ACW (American Catholic Women) Review examined the corrosive work of the ‘Frankfurt School’ – a group of German-American [JEWISH] scholars who developed highly provocative and original perspectives on contemporary society and culture, drawing on Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche, Freud, and Weber. Not that their idea of a ‘cultural revolution’ was particularly new. ‘Until now’, wrote Joseph, Comte de Maistre (1753-1821) who for fifteen years was a Freemason, ‘nations were killed by conquest, that is by invasion: But here an important question arises; can a nation not die on its own soil, without resettlement or invasion, by allowing the flies of decomposition to corrupt to the very core those original and constituent principles which make it what it is.’

Find out how the Frankfurt School, a Jewish/Marxist splinter group, established itself at Columbia University and began “the long march through the institutions.” The idea was, and still is, to infiltrate every corner of Western culture and pervert traditional Christian values with “political correctness” and Marxist ideologies. The ultimate goal is to destroy American free-enterprise capitalism by undermining its economic engine, the Middle Class, and the basic building block of society: the Family Unit.
