Former Pro Boxer (38-11, 21 KOs), Current Trainer, Prolifiic Facebooker and all around Class Act "Iceman" John Scully joins the broadcast tonight to talk about some events he's planning for December in Las Vegas. Scully will be hosting Iceman John Scully's First Official Amateur Boxing Reunion on December 13, 2014 at the Rival Boxing Gear store on Sunset Road. He will also be participating in a special tribute to Tommy Hearns and Mauricio Sulaiman on December 16th at the Mirage in Las Vegas. On top of all that, he is also training 5-0 Super Middleweight Boxer Craig Duncan. Tom, Tony and Rich also preview Pacquiao vs. Algieri, go over the results of a huge mixed martial arts weekend and discuss the recent backlash against Duke Roufus in the wake of new reports regarding the circumstances of the death of Kickboxer Denis Munson. Munson was a fighter trained at the Roufusport gym, and the event where he collapsed (and later died) was promoted by Roufus. Some high profile fighters who worked with Roufus in the past are exposing what they describe as a toxic environment at the Milwaukee facility. Roufus for his part admits some troubling times for his team of fighters in recent years but also insists the whole setup is completely different now and all the problems are in the past.

Don Feeney is "a retired United States Diplomat and United States Air Force officer. He has a Masters of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Southern California, and teaches graduate school part-time. Don lives with his wife Andi, and their cat, Kismet, in Indian Harbor Beach, Fla." Don Feeney is that author of Gathering No Moss: Memoir of a Reluctant World Traveler.
According to the book description of Gathering No Moss: Memoir of a Reluctant World Traveler, "Don Feeney has seen it all. As a diplomat working for the United States, he served in embassies and consulates around the world. As an air force officer, he had some daring exploits of varying levels of sanity and sophistication. He's lived, worked, and played in more than fifty countries on five continents. In his memoir Gathering No Moss, Feeney recalls his three-decade trip down the wild, weird, and surprising journeys of his life. A somewhat reluctant traveler, he conveys the heavy burden of loneliness on the road while driven by the search for meaning, spirituality, and love. His life has been one of thought-provoking questions, highly charged emotional situations, and brushes with both greatness and tragedy. He's been an airman, an officer, an instructor, a commander, an administrator, a trainer, a consular officer, a manager, and a diplomat. He's sold paintings on a street corner, washed dishes, worked in a paper mill, flipped hamburgers, painted houses, and tended bar. He smoked pot, drank too much, and fell in (and out) of love (including four marriages). He went AWOL, was shot at three times, survived a brain aneurysm, and beat colon cancer. His mantra- "The more you know, the more you don't know sh*t" or TMYKTMYDKS-reminds us all that the human mind will never let you understand the human mind."

Guest will be Jay Apicella- President and Director of Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc
Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc. was organized in 1988 for the purpose of building and maintaining a shelter for homeless dogs and cats on the Treasure Coast. Our shelter is founded on the principle of trying to find good, adoptable and loving homes for the animals and help stop the killing of over 75,000 abandoned animals in southern Florida. With the increase of Florida’s population so too has come an increase of unwanted animals. Any healthy pet not adopted will have a safe and permanent home at our facility for the duration of its natural life.
No animal at Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc. will ever be sold for research, entertainment, or exploitation. We strive to end animal abuse and neglect. This charity is not connected with any other animal society. It is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt project totally dependent on donations and endowments. Officers and members are unpaid volunteers. All gifts are used locally and are greatly appreciated. Want to volunteer?. The shelter will then contact you via email or phone within the next week to schedule a volunteer orientation and get you involved with one of the more rewarding forms of service, helping, caring for and loving animals.
