    in Technology

Our century is permanently presenting paradoxical situations. Thanks to Globalization, the economical vicissitudes of Gambia can produce a decided influence in Bolivia. Even though the growth of the communication media is undeniable, people feel increasingly alone. Internet has burst into our lives to stay.

Alberto Elisavetsky, director of the non-profit social network ODR Latinoamerica, will speak with us about his experiences in the use of new technologies applied to conflict resolution in Hispanic America, and how this modality can provide quick and low-cost resolution to various sorts of conflicts.

Alberto Elisavetsky is the director of ODR LATINOAMERICA. Among his most remarkable achievements, there’s the agreement of professional capacitation in distance mediation with the Justice and Human Rights Ministries of the provinces of Salta and Córdoba, Argentina. Another training agreement was made with the School of Judicial Investigation of the Judicial Power of the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. He is the director of the Observatory of Conflict in the National University of Tres de Febrero, Argentina, dedicated to research and advance of conflict resolution through new technologies. Want an A+ in COUNTRY, a better President: Write-In Curtis Clinton c2it

    in Elections

it’s lonely here on this sife of the broadcast at BLOG TALK RADIO. I have no staff, no support ( and that should tell you something ), no money – just determination, excellence, hope, service and vision. you will never see or hear me quit, I may say that I don’t have a chance at the Presidency. That doesn’t mean that I am quitting. you may notice my lack of capitalization. It’s casual & more personal this way. What I have to speak to you today is not nominal. I will be carrying this flag and patriotism for us forever, even if I don’t get into the White House. But then, I won’t be able to deliver the time of your life and the way to live better. my family is not involved in this like the families of the Political Candidates. The Candidates’ families are decked out, handsome & gorgeous. Not mine, we are plain fair looking and we accept it that way. But I got what no other Presidential Candidate got. I have talent designed for the WHITE HOUSE. OBTW, did you see my spelling – wow, I missed some letters   -   my eye vision, and not that other vision, needs bigger glasses ( My Cousin Vunny ).   I did that on purpose. OBTW AGAIN, I may paint part of the WHITE HOUSE some seasonal colors to keep a lively and clean, green, sheen of a WHITE HOUSE. I may also have casual MTWThF. It’s fitting that we have a President from the people, looking like the people. you have seen rich/well dressed. Now you can witness clean down to earth, without make-up, rouge & concealer. I don’t conceal. Do you want that, for a change, in a President. I am here for you when you decide that it should be me for the WHITE HOUSE. Hopefully you decide soon before you waste more money and time. I am Curt Clinton, Curtis Clinton. the best of a Clinton.  120,000,000 Write-In Presidential Ballots can do it,    bwell

PMP: Samuel Wager - Formalizing Wiccan Worship

    in Spirituality

Join RevKess and Kalisara as we bring back Samuel Wagar, the HP of Ravenwood Temple, to talk about the joys and conflicts around creating a formal community church for Wiccans.

From an article on VuWeekly: "Edmonton’s local community, in particular, is at a major transitive point  in its growth, taking steps towards a more formal organizational structure than is commonly found or historically precedented in Wicca."

Samuel Wagar is a Third Degree Wiccan HP (1985), founder of the Congregationalist Witchcraft Association of Canada (1991) and its British Columbia provincial daughter (2004). He's currently HP of Ravenwood Temple of the Alberta branch of his church (2007 - there is also as Saskatchewan branch, founded in 2014) and the Wiccan Chaplain at the University of Alberta. He is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at St. Stephen's College in Edmonton, studying the evolution of a fraction of the Wiccan community toward more formal 'church-like' service to the larger community, a process he's been involved with now for more than a quarter century. Author of four books on theology, ritual, church organization, and a memoir.

    The Supreme: God The Mother

    in Spirituality

This week we continue our discussion on the parental nature of God, more especially the concept of God the Mother based on The Urantia Book's teaching of the Supreme.

We've invited to consummate teachers and Urantian scholars to share their thoughts with us on this topic of the Mother Supreme. Dr. Chris Halvorson, who will be with us for the entire show and Mr. David Kulieke, who can spend part of the show with us.

Dr. Halovorson says this about the Supreme, "Finally, it has been revealed that the Supreme is the evolving womb of finite creation: The Finite Upholder (evolutionary-experiential deity) and the Universal Mother of all evolutionary creatures." Even a casual acquaintance with Chris' writings reveals that he has keen tremendous insights on God the Mother.

Chris Halvorson has a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and worked as a scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder for 24 years. He discovered The Urantia Book in 1990 and started leading a weekly study group in 1995. He founded Perfecting Horizons Institute (PHI) in 2013. PHI is the educational outreach of Perfecting Horizons, Inc., a nonprofit corporation that serves inquisitive-minded people from around the world, challenging them to discover fresh big-picture insights and new ways of thinking about the revelation.

David Kulieke is a third generation reader. His family members were students of the Urantia teachings, long before there was a Urantia Book. David has contemplated these concepts and studied them with other sincere seekers for most of his life. David is currently the Chair of the Fellowship's Education Committee and at the Summer Study Session last year he lead a packed workshop entitled, "Our Relationship with God the Father: Knowing Him as Our Universe Father and the Supreme as Our Universe Mother."

This should be a lively episode!

Stuck in a Fearful Conflict Process: What You Want Conflicts with What You Do?

    in Self Help

Is your behavior inconsistent or erratic? Do you find yourself behaving as you think you should, but not completely wanting to do so?  Does it feel like you are split in two?

A Course in Miracles says that what we do comes from what we think. Our behavior is not autonomous. It is only at the thinking level then that we can exercise choice. Therefore, if we experience conflict it is because we have not made up our mind about what we want, and this produces fear.

“Only your mind can produce fear. It does so whenever it is conflicted in what it wants, producing inevitable strain because wanting and doing are discordant. This can be corrected only by accepting a unified goal.” Text pg. 30.

Today with Eloisa Ramos we explore Sections VI and VII of A Course in Miracles Text and what it says about fear and conflict and how to bring about conflict resolution.

“The fundamental conflict in this world, then, is between creation and miscreation. All fear is implicit in the second, and all love in the first. The conflict is therefore one between love and fear… We have already attempted to correct the fundamental error that fear can be mastered, and have emphasized that the only real mastery is through love..” Page 32-33.

    The Trauma Network for Men

    in Youth

The Men of Semper Fidelis distinguishes the relationship a man has with each other, that is like no other. It goes beyond just being men, it’s a brotherhood and last for a life time. These relationships are dedicated to bringing men and youth from all racial backgrounds together and helping them establish true male relationships. Not just pertaining to sports and casual conversations but building a brotherhood. We accomplish this by communicating with each other on how we really feel on the inside and not hiding behind our masks, but be willing to share our secrets and being accountable to each other.

Our goal is not only to build friendships and establish a brotherhood between men & youth, but to be an intricate part of making a difference in the community in which we live. Before our community can change, men not women must change physically, emotionally and spiritually. This is what MSF is all about, changing men/youth lives by building healthy relationships with one another to make an impact in our community by leading, protecting and providing for our families!
