Thoughts, Love, & Reflections with James DeShay. First A Book! Now A Radio Show!

    in Podcasting

Following a six year dream, SC State University alumnus, James T. DeShay’s, ‘83, latest project has finally come to fruition. DeShay is delighted to announce the launch of his latest poetry book, ‘Thoughts, Love & Reflection’. The book is a beautiful display of poetry in which the true emotional depth of men is showcased. Proving that men are able to convey their deepest feelings without fear of being seen as weak, DeShay’s natural talent for moving his readers is evident within every page. “It is my desire to share my thoughts in a way that will benefit all races and genders. I want to dispel a lot the misnomers related to men,” explains the Orlando, Fla. native. He continues, “Stereotypes are a simple way of placing people inside a box; but sometimes the information belief is inaccurate and destructive. When stereotypes are used exclusively, they service only to deny people the wonderful opportunity to discover uniqueness of humanity.” DeShay sincerely hopes that his book will serve to destroy the ageold stereotype that men cannot share or communicate their deepest thoughts. Each page will also serve as an enriching journey into male thoughts relating to life, joy, love, happiness and reflection. “Readers will be able to free and embrace their own emotions, while taking a journey into the emotions of those around them.

James Kessee VS Dennis C.Latham - debate on the american flag VS GOD THE FATHER

James Kessee VS Dennis C.Latham - debate on the american flag
From FaceBook Post by Dennis C. Latham
    https://www.facebook.com/sowreap/posts/10206272061058738

My comment about the caucasian woman who grabbed and snatched an american flag from protestors of the opposite race who were walking on it -

    Dennis C. Latham
her god is a flag - that represents a satanic nation started on abuse, beating, cheating, harming, hating, hurting, murdering, racism, raping and stealing.
draping that flag over dead soldier is nothing - you need to drape yourself in THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

James Kessee Not only is your view on the American flag disrespectful but its also extremely ignorant and insensitive to the many Soldiers, fireman, etc. that have made the ultimate sacrafice. Whether you like it or not, that flag has given many hope when there was none. I can personally say when I went to Iraq I had no prouder moment then the moment I looked at the flag and said "this is how you represent your country". You are clearly a well educated man but this is by far just a dumb and ignorant statement. Dion E. Evans I am curious as to your views as well.

    JONESTOWN-Will Savive

    in Entertainment

November 18, 1978, was a tragically unprecedented day in U.S. history that will forever be woven into the fabric of this country. It is the day that leader of Peoples Temple (PT), James Warren Jones, ordered the assassination of U.S. Congressman Leo J. Ryan and others at the Port Kaituma airstrip in South America, then led his congregation on what Guyana's police chief, Skip Roberts, testified was a "mass suicide." Decades later, however, the depth of this story is still unknown, and many scholars and former members who have continued their exploration of the incidents have found that there is still plenty of evidence as well as plenty of sinister connections that contradict the official version of this story. Jonestown: "Don't Drink the Kool-Aid" is the chronological story of the rise and fall of Peoples Temple and its leader Jim Jones-from his early years in Indianapolis and California, to the tragic ending in the jungle of South America that claimed the lives of 918 Americans. Jonestown: "Don't Drink the Kool-Aid" comprehensively details the many links that Jones and his compound had with the CIA and their MKULTRA experiments. Through a comprehensive analysis of Jones' life, Peoples Temple, and the investigation and the aftermath of the mass murder/suicides; this book is designed to be the quintessential marking piece that will re-introduce this story to society and serve as a reminder of the infamous mantra that hung in the pavilion in Jonestown: "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it." Klitschko vs. Jennings, Dirrell vs. Jack, Jacobs vs. Truax Review

    in Sports

In the main event of the evening, the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO Heavyweight Champion of the world. Wladimir Klitschko (63-3 with 54 KOs) entered the ring to one of the loudest roars from a crowd you may ever hear to face the undefeated Bryant Jennings (19-0 with 10 KOs). Over 17 thousand filled the World’s Most Famous Arena at Madison Square Garden to watch Klitschko fight his 1st fight in the US in over seven year.

The biggest fight on the Wladimir Klitschko vs Bryant Jennings card was a battle between two welterweights as Brooklyn’s own Sadam Ali (21-0 with 13 KOs) squared off against Francisco Santana (22-3-1 with 11 KOs) of Santa Barbara, California. It was a non-title bout of two skilled fighters that had average pop, and it was scheduled to go 10 rounds. Anthony Dirrell and Badou Jack headlined tonight’s “PBC” on Spike live from the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois. Dirrell was defending his WBC super-middleweight title in his 2015 debut against Jack, who was entering the ring two wins removed from his first loss.Tonight’s “PBC” series broadcast came to us live from the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois, and it was aired on Spike TV, their second showing of Al Haymon’s brain child. The co-feature offered up Danny Jacobs defending his paper championship against Caleb Truax, a fighter whose only claim to fame is a scored knockdown against Jermain Taylor in a losing effort and a win against Don George.
