Carlette Norwood http://letteschat.com/
Wearing many hats as an entrepreneur, author, college professor and consultant, Carlette Norwood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Relations and a Master of Science in Administration degree with a concentration in Organizational Development, both earned from Trinity University in Washington, D.C. By day, she teaches Sociology at a local college and by night, she broadcasts her unique style of talk show on BLIS.fm
When she went to college the first time in 1981, Carlette had aspirations to become a Hollywood film producer. She also worked as the “drive time” DJ at the campus’ FM radio station. A college professor told her she would never make it in the film industry because she has two “strikes” against her; she is black and a female. Now, many years later, Carlette’s life comes full circle as she hosts her own live radio program and works with several producers, directors and actors in the entertainment industry.
Creating and launching Lette’s Chat in March, 2012, Carlette has had unbelievable success with securing provocative guests for her show and increasing her listening audience twenty-fold in a very short amount of time.

First of all, there is a God and He does speak to us. Are we listening is the question? He is so powerful, yet so gentle when He tries to get our attention. Like a loving parent, wanting to guide us in the right direction so we fall and hurt ourselves. Our spiritual ears open when we sincerely seek and yearn for Him.
"Access Granted" with Tony Grant
Actor, writer, producer, and Grammy-nominated musician Tony Grant has become one of the most sought-after, multi-faceted talents in the entertainment industry today. In 2014, Grant can be seen starring as “Phillip” on the OWN Network and Tyler Perry’s original comedy series “Love Thy Neighbor.” The show follows a middle class family and their daily joys, struggles, triumphs, and fumbles. On the film front, Grant recently wrapped production on the independent drama THE LAST PUNCH opposite Keith David, David Banner, and Karon Joseph. Directed by Jesse Vaughan, written by Michael Soccio, and based on true events, THE LAST PUNCH tells the story of James Cornelius [played by Grant], an Atlanta hustler turned boxing promoter who used his street smarts to navigate the shark-infested waters of the 1980’s fight game. On the run from the F.B.I. Cornelius must find a way to make Muhammad Ali’s last fight, The Drama In Bahamas, a reality. Grant will also be returning to music in June 2014, with the release of his full-length album Access Granted through his label, TraFace Music Publishing. After eight years since his last album [Grant Life], Access Granted will showcase Grant’s internationally known powerhouse vocals, passionate lyrics, and original love songs that bring heart and soul back to R&B music.
I hope this helps someone. It's heavy on my heart and I have to get it out. Please listen with an open mind and this is a self-help love session.
Our hands were made to love not to hurt self or others. What do you do with your hands? Do you play an instrument, pet a cat or dog, read a book, go to school? What do you do with your hands? Do you hit yourself or another person, do you break things, steal things? Think about what you're doing when you touch anything; use your hands to for love only. God, use these hands to love to create, to help, to build, to construct and to change for the most good.

Today, I’m welcoming Dr. Mary Ann Block back to the show to talk about vaccines and legislation. As of this show (3/27/15), Texas Representative Jason Villalba plans to introduce a bill to eliminate religious and philosophical exemptions to school immunization requirements. Much of this activity, locally and federally, was started by a measles outbreak caused by an “unvaccinated woman at Disneyland”. A bill to eliminate these exemptions has already been introduced in California. We’ll be talking about this sudden interest in changing vaccine laws, and what it could mean to you and your family.
