Spurrier Paranormal with special guests Rob Garcia and Keith Weldon

    in Paranormal

Justin and Rob Garcia will recap their recent visit to the Sallie House in haunted Atchison Kansas this past weekend. Rob is the founder of Elite Paranormal of Kansas City.

Keith Weldon is a paranormal investigator and researcher. He is the Co-Founder of Chill Seekers.

Chill Seekers was formed in Modesto, CA by “kindred spirits,” Keith and Carissa. Since Chill Seeker’s conception in 2012, they have enlisted the help of equipment tech, Andrew and psychic-mediums, Kriste and Ellie. Chill Seekers have helped families in need by providing answers to phenomena experienced in their homes and sometimes this means having to remove harmful entities. Some contributions to the paranormal community have splashed into the mainstream media. They have validated new advancements in paranormal technology, shed light on a 120-year-old mystery on Mare Island, and even received live Morse code from a spirit aboard the USS Hornet.

    Show call-in number - 323-580-5769

Dadio's Lunch Bucket has a little bit of everything. From time to time, live from the home studio at the MY OFFICE JVL building, and quite often on the road at local taverns and coffee shops, the Radio Clinic risks the perils of ad hoc radio. There is a working class blue-collar theme with local and regional interests that weave through the show. Some college degrees are mixed in. And, all along the way they try to give a voice to those ignored by the status quo.  Somehow, they entertain us all in the process.

Segments include but are not limited to:  Word Phrase; Fish Fry; Quiz; Blue-Collar Jobs; Wisconsin War Casualties; News and Comment; and..., Burgers.

You need to ask Dadio and his crew some questions..., the man comes with his own support group that is prepared and ready to pull him out of the holes he invariably digs himself into!

Call the show, play the quiz, win, make Dadio buy you a beverage at a local watering hole!

Carolyn's Corner ~ Rebelle Roadmap Tribe with Carissa Hannigan

    in Spirituality

Join Carolyn Bennett Sullivan as she speaks with Carissa Hannigan from Rebelle Roadmap Tribe. Carissa created Rebelle Roadmap with the mission to empower women in finding their passion, voice, leadership and courage through community. Her coaching experience started with creating and managing an indoor soccer team in college. The current coaching schools didn't yet exist so she made her own coaching program within her psychology degree. Eventually the majority of the women were offered non-compete scholarships to the first women's NCAA soccer team at the University of Oklahoma. For her recruiting and coaching efforts, the university granted her a scholarship to complete her studies. Later, in her first ever tennis tournament final match, she coached her playing partner through a complete meltdown of the nerves to come from behind in dramatic fashion.

Part mad scientist, Carissa experimented working with online and local San Francisco Bay Area clients in a number of niches over the years, including website design, marketing and advertising, professional organizing and much more. She also has training in community creation, dynamics and leadership. In 2011, she taught a Motivational Life and Business Coaching program at API Wellness in San Francisco. In 2012, she co-lead Skillshare Business Coaching classes on Social Media, Branding, Marketing, Messaging and more at Wix Lounge SF.

"My uncommon approach to live, love and business is for the outside the box thinkers, dreamers, intuitives, and all those who want to have true freedom…to experiment, create, explore, go on adventures, be expressive, and have a home to share these experiences. Someone who understands, who gets you. Now I put my creativity and humor into making Rebelle Roadmap Tribe a fun playground for delving into your dreams."

MMWHP Presents Carissa Miller, Founder of Kids Protecting Kids

    in Lifestyle

This week we welcome Kids Protecting Kids founder Carissa Miller to the show.

Carissa  went from a lonely, sad little girl covered in shame, who started cutting herself at age 11, with thoughts of suicide; to someone who has watched her life transform right before her eyes.

She says if she can do it, anyone can, they only need love, support and encouragement. and she will share her own story of abuse and what she did to not only come through it and thrive but where she found the inspiration to help others through her organization.

That is where she wants to help fill in some voids and help children rebuild their lives like her mom and others helped her rebuild her own.

Carissa feels that having a summer camp dedicated to CSA survivors would be a wonderful way to help children rebuild their lives and help them understand they are not alone.

All they need to do is take the first step and her organization will walk with them.

Carissa says "It is a very hard journey, but one worth fighting for, because you are fighting for your life"

Positive People, Information and News! That is all you will find on Marvelous Mondays with Harry & Phil. Join us each and every Monday night as an alternative to the nightly news and to end your day on a positive note! :-)

Re-Broadcast: Sister Addictions: Food & Alcohol

    in Lifestyle

Many people in recovery struggle with both alcohol AND food disorders. This issue is so common you often hear food addiction referred to as a "sister" addiction to alcoholism.

We have had many requests for a show that addresses the particular challenges for people in recovery who struggle with both, so we are thrilled to welcome Alison Ross, LMFT to our show!

Alison is a licensed psychotherapist and the Founder of Center for Eating Recovery where she helps women and men of all ages heal their relationship with food and become body-confident. In addition to her work at the Center, she is a consultant for Harmony Place a drug and alcohol treatment center, and formerly Beit T’Shuvah, where she helps to create an environment in which women can heal their relationship with food and body while adjusting to sobriety.

On the show, Alison and Carissa, an Eating Coach at the Center, discuss three cultural narratives that keep us stuck in food addiction and body image distress and how to break free and get healthy from the inside-out.
