**A New Religion: Monotheism**. The Ancient Israelites settled the land of Canaan sometime between 1300 and 1200 BC. They traced their descent to a nomadic clan chief called Abram, several centuries before, who had migrated to Canaan from Mesopotamia. His descendants had then migrated on to Egypt. Here, according to their ancestral records, they had been mistreated and enslaved, before escaping en masse and moving back up to Canaan. When they arrived in Canaan, the Israelites brought with them a unique cultural facet, monotheism. For the first time in history, as far as we know, a religion had appeared which concerned the worship of only one god. By implication, this god was the universal God, the One who controlled all things. In light of that change,we must now argue the religion that existed prior to the Big era. In the recent religious change, Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6. (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)--"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Where was this monotheism God all along?

Some black conservatives are adamantly anti-Black History Month. Jerome Hudson is a Breitbart News columnist, political analyst, and social commenter. He covers issues of race in our culture, and he will be one of our guests to weigh in on Black History Month (BHM). Mary Baker, an active homeschooling mom, also opposes a Black History Month celebration. Why are these black conservatives against BHM, and how will I challenge them on this issue?
This broadcast will also cover last Saturday's Republican presidential debate and look ahead to the results of the New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary election.

BLACK HISTORY QUOTES
"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to learn, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." By Nelson Mandela
"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." By Booker T. Washington
"You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right." By Rosa Parks
"Truth is powerful and it prevails. Ain't I a Woman" By Sojourner Truth
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." By Mahatma Ghandi
Because I have a young son it is MY responsibility to educate him...not just the schools. We focus a lot on the past and people that DID things to move our culture and society forward. How come we never talk about the people that are LIVING Black History on a daily basis? It is of no small coincidence that we are going to watch an emmy award winning violinist this evening...he is Black. Violin isnt exactly synonymous with Black men. We dont speak much about Misty Copeland..the famed ballerina, who was told at a young age that she was too "muscular" to be a ballerina she is also Black. We dont speak about several people I see in society making a change and a difference in the communities thru art, music, dance, literary, journalism or many other areas. I would like to acknowledge them today.
