If you are a planet ...
You have huge mass, a set trajectory, inability to explore other planets. There is no objective reality because life on other planets has no relevance for life on your planet. Your experience is 3-dimensional. All experiences are equally relevant. You have a gravitational field around you affects everything around you. There are different conditions on each planet.
If you are a pilot...
You have small mass, so you can change course at will based on your map. Your biggest assets are maneuverability, your quantity of maps, and the quality of your maps. To maintain high quality, you must visit planets. To maintain high quantity, you must explore. Space is always 2-dimensional – going from point A to point B. You need a variety of technologies, skills for using technologies, and cultural skills for interacting with people on different planets.
There are 3 kinds of maps.
1. Map of a planet and its regions,
2. Map of planets in the context of other planets
3. Map of galaxy in context of other galaxies
However, "the map is not the territory." No matter how many maps you have, and no matter how good they are, you cannot substitute a map for an experience. The larger your ship, the more skills you need!

Welcome to “Golf Talk Live!
Join me with special guests:
Ken Bishara - One of the founders of Monsta Golf Balls.
Monsta Golf started as an idea back in the spring of 2013 by 2 working dads from Boston who love the game of golf. Dave and Ken, the founders of Monsta Golf, realize the key to an exceptional golf game is consistency and the short game.Using the same golf ball while honing your skills is an important factor in being consistent. Almost every brand of golf ball performs differently, especially around the greens. This causes variations in accuracy and performance. Some golf balls are for distance, some for spin. The top performing brands currently on the market that are constructed to do both, retail for $48/dozen or more. Golf can be expensive enough!
Later in the show I interview:
Meredith Kirk – LPGA Teaching Professional, Owner of Meredith Kirk Golf & Junior Golf Exchange, plus 2014 Mrs. South Carolina.

With 16 years teaching experience with top PGA and LPGA instructors and players. Voted one of the ‘Most Beautiful Women in Golf 2014-2015′ by Golf.com and ‘Best Golf Teachers Under 40′ by Golf Digest 2014-2015 and Mrs. South Carolina 2014.

Greetings to our stalwart fanbase! Well, one of the bricks from the foundation of the house that nerd built has been removed-actor, Leonard Nimoy passes at 83. For obvious and appropriate reasons we will discuss Mr. Nimoy's career and his placement in the pantheon of American (if not, international) popular culture. Join Dburt, Capt. Kirk and Daryll B. for a new episode of The Grindhouse Mashup, courtesy of Afronerd Radio airing this Saturday at 6pm. Additional topics to be disassembled and then reassembled in our metaphysical transporter room are: speculations on what big announcement Robert Downey Jr and Marvel are slated to make in the next few days; our thoughts about the internet NSFW version of the Power Rangers short; after Gotham's grisly episode involving Jada Pinkett Smith's Fish Mooney character, can the character continue in the series and is there a possible transition to the print world?; hat tip to Shadow and Act for highlighting an upcoming African themed animated movie entitled, Bilal starring Lost's Mr. Echo (or the more fearsome Adebisi of Oz) himself, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje; as great and as crucial the movie, Selma may be, Dburt ponders other historical events that are ready for a cinematic "closeup"; more hair politics after the Zendaya-Rancic televised fallout; Monique vs Lee Daniels vs Hollywood and lastly, more on entertainment entrepreneur, Byron Allen's lawsuit against Time Warner cable (incl. Rev Al "black pawn" allegations). Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620. And in the immortal words of Spock-"once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

In a matter of hours, Chicago went from having two title-contending teams to...TBD, but it doesn't look good. Tonight I'm analyzing the impact that injuries to Derrick Rose and Patrick Kane will have on their respective teams, and where the Bulls and Blackhawks can go from here. Should the Bulls give up on Rose? Can the Blackhawks survive 12 weeks without Kane? Can either team bring in a player that comes close to replacing Chicago's stars? Which team can still make a playoff run? Times are tough for Chicago fans, but as they say in the theatre: the show must go on. I've got open phone lines for YOU! Call in @ (347) 327-9183 and give me your take on Chicago's Week From Hell.
Harold, an eclectic and voracious reader, began his venture in the world of the written word as a child of 2 years. Scraps of paper, candy wrappers, dictionary's right through the entire encyclopedia Britannica. Yet Harold was driven to books of the sciences. Physics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, he met them all with great wonder and fascination. He delved into each discipline as if his very life depended upon understanding its depth.
It was not until the words of The Hon. Elijah Muhammad that the essence and understanding of the sciences began to have true purpose and meaning. He said, "all there is to know is written in a book, read".
Harold began his collegiate pursuit at Hampton Institute; he then forayed to Fairleigh Dickenson University. At FDU the practice of the Social Sciences, public activism, and public speaking became a trusted part of mental fabric.
Harold is the husband to Celestine Muhammad, and the father of 10 extraordinary children, and 8 grandchildren. Harold has the benefit of having the most exceptional and wondrous teachers to whom he owes all that he has learned, will learn and knows to this very day, The Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, his Father Alfred Eatman, and his Grandfather the Late Captain, Harold D. Hook.
