Welcome Listeners! We are reading...2 Corinthians: Chapter 2 Summary
The Painful Visit
Okay, the real reason that Paul cancelled his visit to Corinth is because he didn't want to have another "painful visit." At least that's what happened the last time he stopped in Corinth. Ouch.
Apparently, there was some kind of disagreement between Paul and a male member of the Corinthian congregation. Paul doesn't go into details (we're guessing the Corinthian gossip mill has already made this news known). He also doesn't name his opponent, so we'll just call him the Offending Brother.
We don't know what happened, but we do know that what was really upsetting about the whole incident was that the Corinthians ended up siding with the Offending Brother instead of Paul. How rude!
Paul cancelled his travel plans and did what he does best—he wrote a letter. This letter made him super sad though and he cried a ton while writing it.
The Tears Did It!
But—good news—the letter worked. Paul hears that the Corinthians have kicked the Offending Brother out of the church.
Okay, but now, Paul tells them they should work on bringing him back into the church (wait, what?). Oh, you know. Forgiveness and all that jazz.
Paul heard all this news first hand from his friend, Titus (who had been to visit Corinth). Needless to say, this made Paul very, very happy.
But really, this is all God's handiwork. He has led Paul and his fellow apostles on a victory march through the streets. God loves a parade, apparently.
Paul and his cohorts aren't like some apostles who are really just "peddlers of God's word." They're sincere and truthful. They come from God. Now that's a solid resume. Thanks to Shmoop.com
So you will #deport the entire undocumented population who are in the USA?
Every person in the USA has a right to due process of law. “Due process” has a wide variety of definitions. It is usually centered on substantial and procedural fairness. In the case at bar, before a person can be deported, the person will have the opportunity to plea the case before an immigration judge. The judge will determine the identity of the person (a United States citizen/permanent resident/some other status to stay in the US or a person who is undocumented). If these procedural safe guards are not in place, a person who is a citizen could get deported. The US Constitution was written to give a lot of protection to its citizens and we have to be careful that if the both procedural and substantive due processes are not followed, even innocent individuals can and will be affected.
During the removal process there are certain substantive and procedural safeguards that have to be in place, it may open up doors, at the immigration court, for individuals to get a green card. Being in removal/deportation could be a good thing.
Please check out my book: “A Simple Guide to the Immigration Laws of the United States: What you NEED to know when you come to America.” My book has a chapter on the removal/deportation. www.a-tbooks.com Book available as eBook App: French, German, Portuguese, Italian, English, and Spanish.

Join us as we go on air with Mr. Curtis Jones (Mr.VA/Gunny) as we dive into some of the issues that surround VA disabilities and ratings. We will be discussing issues and simple things that veterans miss when going to sign for their ratings. Also we will be discussing some other programs that are available for veterans such as the VFW, DAV, American Legion just to name a few.
Curtis Jones is a retired Marine Gunny who joined into the Marine Corps in 1977 during his time in service until his end of service in 1998. Once out of the military he held multiple jobs ranging from work as a security consultant all the way up to working for the FBI and everything else in between. Along with some of the jobs that the Gunny has held he has also volunteered his time and efforts to give back to the Veteran Community by taking part in VFW Post 304, DAV CHAPTER 3, AMERICAN LEGION POST 141, FRA BRANCH 24, and AMVETS.
"I work for the DOD, but my life's mission is to help any and all Vet's that I can. I believe in God and Country in that order and I am willing to die for both! I have always stood up for the underdog and will continue to do so! I am a combat Vet and a wounded warrior even tho you can't see my wounds. I have been in two helicopter crashes. Ran over a landmine in Bosnia, shot in the chest but by the Grace of God my vest took the round, almost taken out by an IED also in Bosnia."-Curtis Jones (Gunny)
So please join us on the air to talk with myself and Mr. Curtis to discuss VA ratings and any questions about the process and local VFW, DAV, and American legions.
Some of us have heard the term, he/she, "can't hold water," meaning they can't keep a secret. How could Jesus expect a blind or deaf person, who can now see and hear not to tell how it happened? What would you do?
Mark 7:36-37 Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”
Today I will preach a sermon written by my grandfather Rev. O.C. Boston, who passed away on this date 38 years ago.

In recognition of the 5th Anniversary of the Constitution of Kenya (CoK) which was promulgated on August 27 2010 the Kenya Diaspora Global Summit scheduled for September 28-30, 2015 in Newark, New Jersey, USA has identified Devolution or “Ugatuzi” and the Diaspora as a focal point and Special Sub-Theme. Pursuant to Chapter 11 of CoK 2010 on Devolution, Kenya embarked on one of the most rapid and ambitious devolution processes going on in the world, with new governance challenges and opportunities. By the Diaspora change agents and leaders organizing by County, it will be possible to channel investments more effectively for the benefit of both Diaspora members as well as County citizens.
Ever heard the old saying, “Do as I say, but not as I do”? In other words, people who say it, say it to those they’re in authority over. In most cases, this would be a parent/child relationship where the child would probably see the parent do something that was wrong or contradictory to what they were told NOT to do.
Unfortunately, this line of thinking has carried itself over from our homes into most of our churches and pulpits today. In other words, hypocrisy has become the new normal and most preachers fail to practice what they preach.
But, before you and I shake our heads in disgust and point our fingers at the preacher, it’ll behoove us to do some self examination of our talk as well as our walk.
Pastor Woods explains in part 3 of his series, “The Wrath of God”, taken from Romans chapter 2 verses 17 through 29.

Today on "Moving Forward" we will be in study of Luke, chapter 6, and the question I ask you is, "are you blessed?" Let's break it down:
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
If any of these verses reminded you of yourself you are blessed. Walk in your blessings and know that the Lord is with you wherever you go!
