Noah's Story - Cannabis and Cancer

    in Education

This is the story of a little boy named Noah. He developed a malignant brain tumor that could not be surgically removed. The tumor was detected at age three and by age seven he was gravely disabled and had 30 seizures a day. Today he is seizure free and is coming back to life. Cannabis must have had a role. But I hasten to add that one case does not qualify as scientific investigation, but it one more success to be recorded.  When we get more, we will be able to assist clinical investigators where to look to see if cannabis does indeed have a place in cancer treatment.

Nathaniel & Cheryl Rudd ~ CPS Steals Baby over Cannabis

    in Higher Education

In this episode of Pot Talk Radio we share the story of the Rudd family regarding CPS & Marijuana.

    https://www.gofundme.com/bringbabypeterhom

On Sept. 27, 2015, Baby Peter was stolen at seven days old out of the hospital by CPS using lies and illegal tactics!!! My live in fiance is a qualified preschool teacher Title 22 infant first aide and cpr certified, who has internshipped teaching toddlers with severe Autism. She is one year away from finishing her Bachelor's degree in Special Education to teach K-3, and is a full time student online who is well trained in Early child development and attends a private Christian University. I myself, worked for about 5 years for the school district as a classroom aide for preschoolers with moderate to severe special needs, and I am also educated in Early Child Development. I work two jobs, and when my wife starts teaching Elementary School, then I will go back to college full time while she works and I stay home with the baby.

We wanted a child forever, and finally, God blessed me with a son. CPS took him right out of the hospital. They asked me to interview saying that I could not see my baby unless I complied, so I complied. They did a swab test, it was inconclusive on cannabinoids, meaning it did not say one way or the other if I had used them. I had a prescription for legal medical use for permanent hard to treat pain caused by a near death auto injury years back that broke my jaw in half and off both hinges and caused pain in my spine.

  • The Story of Kenneth Vance ~ A child's veiw on Cannabis Prohibition

    in Higher Education

In this episode of Pot Talk Radio we will share The Story of Kenneth Vance ~ A child's veiw on Cannabis Prohibition.

Kenny Vance is an 18 years old former victim of CPS and the War on Drugs. Kenny was first removed from his family in 2001 as a young child and placed into fostercare with his younger sister Cheyenne because of cannabis use by his parents. He was diagnosed with autism at age 5 and spent the next 8 years being medicated with dangerous psychotropics before his mother risked criminal charges and started treating his issues with cannabis oil instead. Kenny and his sister Cheyenne joined with the Flor children and founded the first childrens chapter of THS to specifically address the issues children face dealing with The War On Drugs and answer the question, what about the children? As an adult Kenny hopes to offer perspective into the fears and trials endured by children because of Prohibition.

New York Times Best Selling Author Celebrity Marilu Henner

    in Books

The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview New York Times Best Selling Author Celebrity  Marilu Henner. She will discuss her latest book Changing Normal: How I Helped My Husband Beat Cancer.

The New York Times bestselling author and beloved actor from the sitcom Taxi, Marilu Henner delivers an intimate account of how she and her husband stood together and triumphed.

After they’d been dating only a short while, and as they were falling madly in love, Marilu Henner and Michael Brown were hit with the ultimate bad news: Michael was diagnosed with cancer. Refusing traditional care, they pieced together a personal and holistic view on battling his cancer, all while forging an unbreakable bond.

In this moving and informative book, Marilu pulls back the curtain on how they dealt with the blow. She relates her holistic perspective on health—including the superfoods, exercises, and immunotherapy they used to fight back—and why a diagnosis doesn’t have to be the end of romance or of a happy and fulfilling life. Takeaways, tips, and practical advice make this a useful guide for anyone working to sustain a relationship through the adversity of disease.

Written with an engaging voice, a sense of humor, and life-changing wisdom, Changing Normal is a personal and touching look at how Marilu and Michael faced down a cancer diagnosis and came out the other side happier, healthier, and more in love than ever.
