To the shock of many, the retired neurosurgeon, Dr. Ben Carson is quietly, yet with great fanfare, making great headways as a credible GOP presidential candiate for the upcoming 2016 race.
While Donald Trump holds the lead among all GOP candidates, Ben Carson, having no political experience (like Trump), has impressed many, including this writer, with his staidness of faith, family and reason.
Of course, there are areas of contention, but just think what it would be like to Hillary, should she lose twice to a black man (I relish the thought).
As Trump has engaged in some attacks on Dr. Carson, I have not noticed any of the mainstream black "leaders" coming to his defense. Hmmm. It seemed not too long ago, Trump was being "Trumped" for some unsavory comments about other candidates or celebrities.
Of course, it stands to reason, many black people are still angry that Carson disobeyed the "Black Commandment", that no black people are allowed to question Barack Obama, much less disagree or take issue with his errant views and policies.
Yes, sadly, this thinking (better, emotion), carries over unto blacks who claim to have a faith-based outlook.
Maybe after all, liberalism has indeed become the religion of a large segment of black people, which is why, unlike with Obama in 2008 and 2012, they are not clamoring to Dr. Carson, a man who's expressed decidedly conservative and scripturally-based views on family.
A man who brings a fresh ray of sunshine to an increasingly decadent political pool.
Did you hear that he went to Ferguson, Mo, to take on issues of police - black community relations, as well as express his views on Black Lives Matter?
Speaking of, when will black lives matter to black people?
Thankfully, the most incompetent Mayor of Baltimore has decided not to seek re-election.
Ever since the US Supreme Court muddled the waters of our sovereignty in the "Marshall Decisions", our Chahta Okla have remained politically unstable with outside influences upon our traditional form of self-governance. Even in recent years, the administration has been clouded of the Choctaw Nation has been clouded with corruption, election fraud/tampering, favoritism, and rewarding themselves enormously. Just before the election year, a former official, Jason Merida, was convicted of corruption and fraud, and sentenced to 12 years. The trial brought out testimony of widespread corruption, fraud and abuse of office. Efforts were underway to reform the constitution and election rules. Concurrently, Batton created a task force to provide election recommendations, which brought objections from citizens at the council meeting because it failed to resolve the problems.
Recently, an issue arose challenging Wards residency. Election rules require a candidate must have lived in the district one year prior to the filing for office (May 2015). Documents appeared in the social media of Facebook indicating he was a resident of District 1 one month prior to filing for office. An election hearing was called for August 19th after the opposing candiate, Mike Amos contested the validity of Wards qualification to run for office. They met at 10 AM and and said they would give their decision by written reply.
At the beginning of the election, three candidates were challenged on their residency. One survived the board, while the other two didn't. Alicia Nevaquaya would have been an opponent of Wards and Amos, as well as several others for the council seat. Questions have been raised about the boards thoroughness.
This evening I spoke with Mr. Ward about this issue and invited him to come on the show and tell us what he knows. He agreed to come on. I hope other guests versed on this subject do so as well.
Doing my best to help the Lord set the brushfires of freedom in the hearts of men and to restore America, God willing, to the beacon of freedom she was meant to be.
Looking at Ms. rodham-clinton and what the continuing presentation of her as a viable presidential candiate says about our nation.

On the same side? Which side would that be?
Are schools to teach us how to think?
The scene here is the head of a newly formed Journalism industry is talking to the tyrant of a prosperous city whom he has just rescued, but who he knows can and will still ruin him if he sees fit.
"I'm sure we can pull together sir.
Lord Vetinari raised his eyebrows. "Oh I do hope not, I really do hope not. Pulling together is the aim of despotism and tyranny. Free men pull in all kinds of directions." He smiled. "It's the only way to make progress. That, and, of course, moving with the times. Good day to you." ~ From "The Truth" by Terry Pratchett

The Porch’s is a distinctive blend of live online radio/television discussions and interviews in the field of news, sports and entertainment, with a mix of playful banter and serious dialogue to stimulate the listener’s mind and encourage conversation. The goal is to educate and provide useful information to the listener in laymen’s terms; as everyday individuals (the multimedia personalities) discuss “water cooler talk” as a sports’ fan or casual news observer as opposed to the typical media anchor/celebrity. As news and information comes in rapidly, we look to provide the listener/viewer with an in-depth discussion as to how these updated bulletins affect the sports world, entertainment, and society at large.
Another day, another Supreme Court ruling...this time the Koch brothers have manipulated one of their projects on to the judicial table. The new ruling states that there are no longer any limits on campaign donations to any one political candidate. With the exiting of Obama from the presidency, this new ruling unfairly stacks the deck against Democratic and Indepenedent candidates representing the poor and working class, African-Americans and minorities--and eliminates fair elections and candiate choices for the voters. Billionaires and "elite" groups will be easily able to fund their candidates no matter what the opposing candidates budget or campaign price tags are, because they will always have the ability to match or exceed the numbers, ensuring that the election results will swing their way. The SUpreme Court has done nothing but serve not the people on a whole, but as an ally for the rich. Has the entire instution of America been put on the auction table?
Now that the local elections are over and the newly elected or reelected officials have been sworn in, now it's time to find out about the candidates running for state office. The first candiate we will be talking to has an extensive background at such a young age. How will this experience influence his apporoach to dealing with the issues if he is elected to the Ohio House of Representatives? Join Mr. Yancey as he talks to Michael J. Houser, candidate for House District 11. Feel free to call in with your questions and comments at (914)338-0665. Make sure you also tune in for "Hilarious Moments" with Ms. BB.
Lisa chats with possibly the most brilliant & engaging conservative candiate running for office in 2014. Conservative Crew, Portland Congressional candidate, James Buchal discusses the gross abuse of power by the Obama Administration's NSA and IRS agencies.
Mr. Buchal earned his Bachelors in physics while a member the Harvard debate team, before earning both his Law and MBA from Yale. James moved to Portland in 1991 where he raised his two children and has been litigating primarily against the EPA up and down the West coast as a member of the CA, OR & WA Bars.
In 2012, Lisa recruited Mr. Buchal to run a write-in campaign for the Republican Attorney General nomination. Lisa then managed his campaign traveling around the state, as James recieved standing ovations for his powerful speeches focusing on the importance of government accountability, simiplicity & decentralization. After starting from a dead stop James Buchal earned nearly 640,000(40%) votes against the incumbant AG at a cost of just 6 cents per vote.
