Good morning, good morning, GOOD morning!!! Happy Monday morning, to ya!!! Can you believe it's the last week in April??? Where, oh, where, has all this time gone. Geesh, if you not doing nothing, you best be getting to it, cause you got to start somewhere, in order to wind up, at the finish line. Speaking of finish line, just like, a good old race, it takes time to get to the end of it. Sometimes, you barely make it to the finish line, but when you do cross it, what a great feeling of accomplishment. So I wanna say to you today, start you a "race," and no matter how long it takes you to get to the finish line, keep going, cause things, TRULY do take time, and the goal, is, the finish line, of success. Anywho, I haven't posted the link to my donation site in a while, and someone was looking for it here, so here it is. LDSS Announces Night of Champions to Honor Differently-abled Working Adults and Their Employers
(SAVANNAH, GA) The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) announces the sixth annual Night of Champions will be hosted Thursday, May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa – Hotel Grand Ballroom. This community celebration distinguishes local organizations that hire and retain differently-abled people, including those with Down syndrome, and recognizes the contributions made by these employees.
According to the National Down Syndrome Congress, 80 percent of the 15,000 people of working age (18-60) with Down syndrome are unemployed. Low expectations and a lack of understanding about the skills and work ethic many people with Down syndrome possess have contributed to this statistic. LDSS hopes to reverse this trend by encouraging Savannah area employers to give differently-abled workers a chance.
“Dignity and self-respect are borne out of feeling that what we have to offer makes a difference,” said LDSS Night of Champions Chairperson, Allyson Harvin.
This year’s Night of Champions will be emceed again by celebrity chef and author, Jamie Deen. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at nightofchampions.org
For more information, please contact Allyson Harvin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) is a family support group to benefit people with Down syndrome and their families through local leadership, outreach, education, and advocacy to champion and celebrate acceptance and inclusion. Meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of the month. LDSS is an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society. For more information about LDSS, visit http://www.ldssga.org/

Over the decades and maybe every week there is some type of discussion on the topic of "reparations"; specifically reparations to be paid to African Americans for slavery.
We shall approach this topic from a Law School point of view today on "It's My House". We shall discuss
"Reparation Invesitgations" and who are qualified "Reparation Investigators".
Are their any licensed Bar "Attorneys" who specialize in "Reparations", "Reparations Injuries", or "Generational Reparations Injuries" ?
Are their any " Reparation Lawyers" ?
What Law Firm specilizes in "Reparation Litigation" ?
Who would you bring legal action against in a "Reparations Legal Action" ?
How do you organize a "Reparations Legal Defense Fund" ?
Make sure that you have plenty of access to take notes for this podcast, for we shall cover this topic in a way that most people who discuss it never even think of.
