    After the Storm

    in Women

My home state of SC has been hit pretty hard with the rain and flooding. People have lost their lives, their homes, their businesses and more. My heart just breaks. I don't have a community organization or anything. But I do have a heart and I have a platform. I will use both to do what I can. Join me tonight for at 8PM EST for my Heart Secrets Radio Show to discuss what we can do to help. If you have an organization that's ready to give aid or help, please call in and join the conversation. If you were hit hard by the storm, call in and let us know. If you are a just a concern citizen and want to offer support or help, call in and let us know. I will use tonight's show as a resource center to provide information and resources to those in need or help and those willing to help. You can listen online or call in by phone. When the enemy comes in like a storm...the Lord will raise a standard against him.

A Silent Darkness Is Hanging To Begin This New Set Of Blessings

    in Christianity

We are nothing---God is everything.  God made us we did not make ourselves.  God is shutting something down in order to open something new up for our lives.  Remember that it is God who does all things we are not fit to understand to do.  The supernatural is still moving.  God completes where humans are weak.  It is only God that will move human life to become fulfilled in all things. If you are feeling a darkness that set in around your life, rejoice.  Gods blessing will be revealed to you when the light shines agian.  God has stopped something so He can bring a new thing to your life.  Just be conscience of what is going on around you.  When the light bulb comes on you will see where God has moved and what He has done.  The storms are being quieted in your life.

Ep. #119 Rising Apple Report: Calm Before The Storm; Next Stop, Los Angeles

    in Sports

The Mets 2015 regular season ended on a high note thanks to Curtis Granderson.

The N.L. East champs did not, however, wrap up their final week of play in optimal fashion as fans would have preferred.

On the west coast, the Los Angeles Dodgers took care of business winning 5 of their final 6 games to secure home field advantage through the upcoming NLDS.

The Mets, meanwhile, lost 5 of their last 6 games, as well as their last four home series, posting a 4-8 record in their final 12 games at Citi Field.

The 2nd place Nationals also earned a measure of consolation over the Mets.  In a brilliantly dominating performance, Max Scherzer no-hit them in the first game of Saturday's (make-up game) double-header.   Washington then completed a sweep in the nightcap.

Some question Terry Collins' strategy and implementation down the stretch, while others point to Yoenis Cespedes' decreased production as potential explanations for the team's recent slide.

The crew at Rising Apple will attempt to make sense of it all.

The omniscient Rich Sparago will host this evening's 119th episode of the Rising Apple Report.  He'll be joined by site editor Danny Abriano, senior staff writer Michael Lecolant, and the Converted Mets Fan Sam Maxwell.

Together, they'll review the season that was, and discuss their major concerns as the Mets head into the post-season.

The show starts at 9pm (EST) sharp.  As always, you're welcome to call and participate.  The number is 646-929-0337.
