Author Fernando Camargo is an Italian-Brazilian living in Sao Paulo, Brazil. An award-winning architect, he has a degree in Arts and Media and is devoted to animals and has been deeply involved in causes for their protection and freedom. He is a world traveler, speaks four languages - English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish and has published a travel book entitled Rio, Maravilha!
For many years Fernando has been practicing yoga and meditation and studying the Kabbalah. His exploration of spiritual teachings motivated a commitment to self-development, which in turn created a new path and goal in life. His new book entitled, "Shanti and the Magic Mandala" was born from his inner journey and recently won a Bronze Medal at the 2014 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. Ka'ramuu Kush, winner of the Shadow & Act Filmmaker Challenge, is a graduate of the New School University with a BFA in Writing and the Arts, as well as an MFA in Theatre Directing / Classical Drama from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA in Film Directing from the AFI Conservatory. His AFI thesis film SALVATION ROAD garnered awards from DGA, FUJIFILM, THE CAUCUS FOUNDATION and numerous others before it's premiere on HBO.

Jane Elliott is an American former schoolteacher, recognized most prominently as an anti-racism activist and educator. She is also known as a feminist and LGBT activist. Elliott created the famous "blue-eyed/brown-eyed" exercise, first
done with third-grade school children in the 1960s, which later became the basis for her career in diversity training.
The exercise was conducted the day following Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination. The purpose of the exercise was
to try to teach her students the effects of being a minority. Her exercise, and the subsequent controversy, became the basis for the television documentaries Eye of the Storm (1970) and A Class Divided (1985). Elliott was also recipient of the National Mental Health Association Award for Excellence in Education and many other awards.

Originally from India, Chef Maneet Chauhan earned a bachelor's degree from India's top hotel management school, The Welcome Group Graduate School of Hotel Management and then interned at some of India's finest hotels and kitchens, including the Taj Group, Oberoi Hotels and Le Meridian. She continued her culinary education in 1998 by enrolling in the CIA's baking and pastry arts associate degree program graduating with top honors, while earning numerous service and scholastic achievement awards.
She started her career working for a family owned, fine-dining Indian restaurant in Cherry Hill, NJ before moving to Chicago to rise above 40 male chefs and be chosen as the opening Executive Chef at Vermillion, a Latin-Indian fusion restaurant. She also was the opening chef at Vermillion in NYC and during her tenure at the restaurant, earned many accolades including best import to New York City by Time Out Magazine.
After eight years Chef Maneet branched off on her own founding India culinaire, an avant-garde culinary and hospitality company. She was the only Indian female competitor on The Iron Chef and is now a judge on Food Network’s hit show Chopped. The show was nominated for a Critic’s Choice award and earned her a James Beard Award for Excellence. She has tremendous zest and has just opened a restaurant in Nashville, apart from embarking on a 21-city book tour promoting her new book Flavors of My World.
