Motivation to Get Started and to Keep Going - Visiting an old hometown

Many tragedies happen during these Last Days. Each week, we learn about people who were subjected to cruel and unusual treatment by their government in the form of police violence and denial of basic human and civil rights. On most radio shows I participate in, we approach the issues from a secular perspective. We are sensitive to the fact that our audiences are comprised of many people who have differing viewpoints on religion. But as a Christian, I feel that the solution for social and economic justice issues is to do as God said:
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ~2 Cor. 7:14.
Therefore, we meet on Sunday nights at the Throne of Grace and take problems before our righteous God, and we pray together in the name of His son, Jesus Christ. We enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise, knowing that every answer is "yes" and "amen." ~2 Cor. 1:20
