On this episode of HEROES 101, Rock welcomes this week's guest host and RLSH, "Impact" from Durham, NC.
Our topic is a Real-Life Superhero-specific topic, but can also be applied to any non-RLSH who are interested in finding ways to serve their communities.
We'll examine the possible reasons for the lack of RLSH who have established a connection with their local civic leaders (law enforcement, the mayor, soup-kitchen organizers, park and rec staff, etc.), and why, despite numbers in the thousands, only a handful have proper community emergency response training. We'll also provide tips to help establish a working relationship with your city.
Also, updates on Project HOPE San Diego (July 23, 2016).
We invite you to call in or join the chat room to add your two cents to the discussion.

Valentine's Day is not for everyone.
Which one are you on -
Team Warm-and-Fuzzy or Team Love-Can-Bite-Me
We wanna know!
Last week, our Hearts 101 episode was so full of healthy-heart related chat that we didn't really get to discuss ways to have a happy Valentine's Day (whether you love it or abhore it), so we've extended that discussion into its own episode and we promise, at the very least, to give you ideas and make you laugh.
We're also inviting everyone to call in with their favorite dating stories, both good and bad, but we know which ones are more entertaining!! If you've ever had a date from hell, now is the time to unload that burden! It's a sort of therapy, really -- recounting your tales for all our listeners. Drs. Rock and Spectre are here for you. You'll feel lighter when you're through!
Call in, join us in the chat room or just listen in!

Recently, a family member of Rock's had a heart attack. He survived (thank goodness), but we've been talking about the heart ever since. What better time to share our healthy heart tips and CPR info?
As a bonus, we've also got some kick-ass ideas for Valentine's Day, whether or not you've got a date!
Join us this Tuesday and every Tuesday at 7PM PT/10PM ET!

Every now and then, HEROES 101 Radio cuts loose and lets its nerdy flag fly! This is one of those times.
Following our way-too-short discussion of THE FORCE AWAKENS on this week's episode of Geek Pile Radio, we're continuing the conversation with Geek Pile's hosts, Biff and the Danimator on this week's episode of HEROES 101.
You probably know by now that Spectre and Rock are two of the biggest Star Wars fans in the galaxy, but did you also know that their soundman extraordinaire, NightBug, is also a walking Star Wars version of Trivial Pursuit? Unlike his usual quiet self, he'll have plenty to add to the discussion this Tuesday night.
We're also honored to be joined by Alain Bloch, founder and head instructor of the Golden Gate Knights Lightsaber Academy in San Francisco. You've probably already seen Alain and some of the Knights in the news or on Anderson Cooper Live. If you're a true Star Wars fan, you've got to make it to one of the Lightsaber classes!
