C.D. - Sheeee's Heeeerre: The "Coronation" of Hillary Rodam Clinton

    in Elections

Well, as long anticipated, "Queen" Hillary has thrown her hat in the 2016 presidential race.

Denied in 2008, from what she saw as her entitlement, Clinton will try to make history, by becoming the first woman president of the United States.

Anyone who saw or heard of her video-launch, cannot deny the extent of her agenda, which clearly is diametrically opposed to the Law and dictates of God.

It will be interesting to see if other democrats can overcome the intimidation and badgering, and themselves, enter the race; we already see on the GOP side, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie, who've either officially announced or strongly hinted at running.

But back to Hillary, for certain, she will be forced (if the liberal press is not successful in running interference for her) to finally and honestly address Benghazi and the e-mail scandal.

It will also be interesting to see if the black community demonstrates the same type of religious-like devotion to Mrs. Clinton, as they did and do, with Barack Obama.

While those who profess adherence to scripturally-inspired religion, finally assess the issues discussed, through the Books they follow?

Will we once again, be inundated with proclamations of her being "blessed" or "sent"?

Will we once again, be subject to numerous "explanations" and rationalizations as to what was, is and will be expressed by Clinton; that somehow, "she really didn't mean what she said"?

In other words, will the people assess, dissect, reflect and analyze the statements, positions and opinions, obvious or subtle, in 2016, unlike 2008?

To some, many, the above commentary is strongly worded and stinging, but others will see their necessity, in this critical day and time.

C.D. - Black Lives Only Matter When the Perpetrators are NOT Black

    in Current Events

By now, you are all aware of the senseless shooting of Walter Scott, by Officer Michael Slager, who fired 8 shots at the fleeing man.

Stopped for a broken taillight, a struggle ensued, with the results, seen on camera, a clear indictment against the policeman, who was not even remotely, in imminent danger. He was even seen in the footage, planting his stun-gun on Scott, to attempt to substantiate his radioed report, that it had been taken by Scott, during their encounter.

In my view, this is a capital case, plain and simple, yet I have to wonder what led to Scott's running from Slager, in the first place?

No grey or muddled areas, just blatant murder.

But, once again, the slogan of Black Lives Matter, emerges, despite the apparent apathy, otherwise (when black people brutalize or murder other black people).

While the travesty of this scenario will be prominently reviewed on Critical Discourse today (Saturday, April 11th), we must understand why it takes such, to get black people to express concern for black lives, UNLESS we believe that this is to be EXPECTED, for any number of reasons or factors. Nonetheless, we CANNOT allow such situations, as to what happened to Walter Scott,to obscure, mask, a more serious reality.

We also want to discuss the recent rebuff by a judge, of Obama's illegal immigration efforts, to grant amnesty.

In fact, anything that may be on your mind, is on the table, includiing what's on my ,mind, the latest developments around Mumia Abu-Jamal's medical condition and treatment thereof.

C.D. - The Impact of the Death & Life of Martin Luther King Jr.

    in Current Events

Today (April 4) marks the 47th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in Memphis, Tenneessee.

The act makrked a breaking point in the already tense, racial climate at the time, as riots exploded  throughout the cities of America.

In the years since this and the overall Civil Rights Era, we have had opportunity to fairly and objectively exsmine the impact and role of Dr. King, in our securing the rights and dignity, so long denied.

We will so discuss, on Critical Discourse, as well as:

    1) The election results in Nigeria, marking a return to power of Muhammadu Buhari

    2) The Iran nuclear deal, in particular, the tone of condescent on the part of Barack Obama, during his Press Conference

C.D. - Scott Walker and the RIGHT to WORK; The Continued Assassination of Cosby

    in Current Events

This Saturday (March 21), thanks to feedback, we will cover in depth; Wisconsin's Governor Walker's recent signing of its Right-to-Work law, which as expected, has been excoriated by the left, as "anti-union".

If you accept the narrative, that labor/working is completely and inextricably associated with unions, you would agree.

But, are unions necessary today? Why or why not?

Should the worker be held hostage by unions, by being forced to join them and pay dues?

We also want to examine the motivation and motivators behind the attacks on Bill Cosby; the accusations of drugging/rape, after 30-40 years.

Barack Obama thinks voting should be mandatory for Americans, though I'll take the liberty to say that he also means "non-Americans (i.e. illegal immigrants).

Yeah, I know, "people died, to protect our [black people's] right to vote, so this should be pretty academic.

BUT, since when does a right become a requirement?

Other issues are on the table, both domestic and international, so let's get ready to

GRAB THE BRACH OF CRITICAL DISCOURSE!

C.D. - Black Girls Gone Wild / The Ferguson Report

    in Current Events

For those of us you live in New York City, Wednesday at a MacDonald's in Brooklyn, a 16-year old girl was mercilessly beaten by a group of 5 other young (teenager) girls. Apparently, this was a part of some sort of gang activity.

For those who would argue that this is an isolated incident, I beg to differ, taking at face value, the overriding sentiment that "the girls are worse than the boys".

What has happened, as we see a transformation, right before our eyes, our precious females, displaying such uncouth and uncivilized behavior before the world?

Clearly, the socialization of females has been debased, from one of refinement, culture and femininity, to "strength" and "independence", to the point, where they've started to think and behave like [wayward] men!

We must no longer be in denial, as not only to the problem, but those underlying and overt influences that we have allowed to go unchecked, for years, being deceived into believing they were of assistance (e.g. feminism).

On March 4, Eric Holder released the Investigation of the Ferguson Police Department, a scathing report which charged it tolerating and allowing, clearly racist policies and procedures, when it comes to its black residents. As a result, it’s Police Chief and some other high-ranking personnel resigned.

Then, on Thursday, right in front of Police Headquarters, during an otherwise, peaceful protest, 2 police officers were shot. Both were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

More tension, on top of tension.

We will examine the Investigation, not only its contents, but it's relevancy to the demographics and social fiber of Ferguson.

The State of Wisconsin is now a Right-to-Work state. Thank you, Governor Walker

    fiber of Ferguson.
