    The Preppers Medicine Bag

    in Politics

On this episode of ‘The Smithfix’ we continue with Prepping and turn our attention to health and natural medicine.

Tonight we have a valued addition to We Resisters Radio, Brandi Medeina- Certified Nutritional Therapist and Herbalist.

Prepper Nutrition, Natural Medicine, Herbs…, this will be a great show.

Brandi moved to the wilds of the Pacific Northwest in 2004 from the foreign land of California. She escaped a long career in which she worked with two Fortune 500 companies, and one Fortune 100 company. What brought her north was an opportunity to purchase a small business in a small town which was where she wanted to raise her kids. Shortly after buying a small retail establishment that specialized in natural foods, and supplements, she recognized that she seemed to have an affinity for the retaining the knowledge that came her way.

In 2007 she attended classes and obtained a certification in Nutritional Therapy. This modality respects bio-individuality and encourages personal accountability for one’s health. Using symptom analysis, Kinesiology, and Lingual-Neural testing, she helps the individual identify nutritional deficiencies and assists in getting them back to optimal wellness.

Her passion is creation, the outdoors. Much of the time in the summer, she can be found in the woods, identifying medicinal plants, wild crafting and making her own medicines, salves and teas. After successfully home-schooling her children, she has now entered a new season, and is excited about sharing that with We Resisters Radio listeners.

  • I was just thinking...Money! Wealth, Riches and Prosperity.

    in Education

The differences between riches, wealth, and prosperity.

Black Friday came and went I the midst of protests from the injustices perpetuated on black people in general and black men in particular. Protests were held at Malls and department stores and there was an attempt to protest the Thanksgiving Day parade…and believe it or not it worked! The projected profits from black Friday fell 11% and sent the stock markets reeling.  Most of it was black dollars the buying power that has been underestimated in the system [and you know when I say the system it is the system of white supremacy and its economic component] and misunderstood by our community.

“In 2014, $50.9 billion was spent during the 4-day Black Friday weekend, down 11% from last year. While approximately 133 million U.S. consumers shopped during the same period, down 5.2% from last year's 141 million.”

I have to see numbers on paper to understand the power we have as black consumers because we have been told so many times that our black dollars are useless.

But the Nielsen and the National Newspaper Publishers Association writes this:

“Black buying power continues to increase. It is currently $1 trillion, but is forecast to increase up to $1.3 trillion by 2017. Population growth and increased educational attainment are key factors in the uptick in Black consumer power according to the “Resilient, Receptive and Relevant African-American Consumer 2013 Report.”

Lasana K. Mack, founder and executive director of APPEAL, Inc., based in Washington, D.C.

“We should begin to spend a substantial portion of those dollars with Black-owned businesses; we should be depositing substantial amounts of those dollars in Black-owned banks.”

Simple Basic Instructions: Before Leaving The Earth...

    in Social Networking

Coming together in search God's Word for his wisdom will ground us.

    The early Church dynamic:

They gathered together in homes, often in secret, reminding one another of God's promises and relating Jesus' commands—to love God and others— to real life situations. They encouraged one another, challenged one another, and worked out what it feels like to be a Christian. Sherwin Simple is offering the same concept. In fact, he is doing exactly as it is in the Bible. God created us to live in a community—and especially to read & learn Scripture in a community. It's only together that we can accurately interpret and apply the Word. So if you don't currently participate in a small-group Bible study. Now is the perfect time to join in and listen to Simple Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Healing Black Communities Part 2 - March in Washington DC and New York City

    in News

The discussion continues Healing Black Communities Part 2 | We will be examining the marches for justice in our judicial system.  This weekend Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Washington DC and New York City; people marched and chanted Black Lives Matter and around the world demonstrations of colored people lives (black, brown, red or yellow) being valuable and worth keeping alive has hit homes.

This is a universal problem (worldwide) and we "the people" the masses, need to take heed at the whole picture and not half or the portion that only affects us. The reactive behaviors towards societal issues that keep a group of people oppressed has come to its head; we the people will no longer stand for supremacy behaviors; it’s not white, it’s not European but the selective few called the elite that needs to be stop and it doesn't matter what color or culture it stems from.
