The Steelers win give them the AFC North division crown for the first time sice 2010, but the game wasn't without disappointment as Le'Veon Bell left the game with a knee injury after being hit low by Bengals' safety Reggie Nelson.

North Florida’s Mixed-blood Indian People, Rediscovery of a Forgotten People
In the early 1800s, dozens of Siouan-speaking Cheraw families, including Catawbas and Lumbees, fled war and oppression in the Carolinas and migrated to Florida; just as native Appalachicola Creeks were migrating away. Being neither Black nor White, the Cheraw descendants were persecuted by the harsh “racial” dichotomy of the Jim Crow era and almost forgot their proud heritage. Today they have rediscovered their past. This is their story.
Creek Eastern Siouan Cheraw Indians, generally located in the panhandle of Florida. Related groups (Porch Creek, Redbones, Brass Ankles, etc) in which we can establish a surname connection locally or by association later (Mt Tabor Community).
The Apalachicola River Indian Community Conference is a non-profit community-based tribal organization that works for the political, social, legal, and spiritual welfare of the Creek/Eastern Siouan Cheraw Indian people in the panhandle of north Florida. Its focus is to foster tribal cultural identity and unity, documentary historical research into our origins and history, and provide venues for communication, awareness, and growth. We are the descendants of the Indian people who lived in the 3 settlements whose history is documented in the “Our History” part of this website. These are surnames in our community:

This show is a reunion show of sorts that took a year to happen and even then happened by sheer chance.
Whoever would have thought a 15 minute experimental radio show in Kent Texas would lead to meeting for the first Robert Tolan Jr., his wife Vanessa and Roque Robles in the meeting room at the Round Texas Best Western Executive hotel?
About a year ago I sent 2 flags and a care package to FOB Fenty in Afghanistan to support Operation Crazy Horse which is turn was sponsored by “Welcome Home Military Hero’s “which is jointly operated by the Tolan Family in Arroyo Grande Ca. Their son Robert was serving in the Army out of FOB Fenty at the time. I had arraigned to send two flags to FOB Fenty in Afghanistan with one of them to be returned to me and the other to be donated to a returning service man.
I also had the two flags flown over the Northwood memorial in Irvine California, which is the only memorial dedicated to the Iraqi and Afghanistan fallen. When Mr. Tolan returned state-side I did a show with to thank him for his efforts and to hear his stories
Fast Forward December 24 2014 we stopped in Kent Texas to do a brief show about ghost towns not knowing that Robert was going to hear the show and because he is stationed at Fort Hood Texas, he emailed me while we were here in Round Rock and so we set up the show.
Today 12/28/12 we met in the lobby of the Hotel and prerecorded the show which I am now going to play
Because this was prerecorded live and without rehearsal I apologize in advance for some sound issues but it is my belief that live radio is live radio and that includes the occasional OOPS. MY real surprise I will save for the end of the show
I would like to thank
Cheryl and Robert Tolan

Hosts Adam Burke and Kyle Hunter will take a look at the bowl game lines and discuss some of the bowl games coming up this week. This episode will include all the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day bowls, like the College Football Playoff Semifinal Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl, the Chick-fil-A Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, the Outback Bowl, and more.
Tonight our guest is Liz Luras. Liz is a US Army Veteran, and a native of Portland, Oregon who currently resides in the State of Washington. She joined the military to protect freedom and leave a legacy. Elizabeth is a fierce and courageous military sexual trauma activist and a national military suicide activist. Liz was the 1st Runner-Up for Ms Veteran America 2013 and received the MVA Ms Resilience Award. She also made it to the Top 10 Finalist for MVA 2014.
We will also have two other special guests call in tonight. One is Ken, The Exceptional Conservative, who met Liz at a function and has made her a part of his show on SHR Media. The other is Dan Butcher and he is getting Liz started wth her own show called Rebel Tea Radio. They will come on to help us introduce Liz and her story.
Liz considers it her duty to advocate for Veterans that are mistreated by the government when they get home and have been mistreated while serving our country. Her personal story has made her a perfect spokeswoman for those that are mistreated. Her own show starts on January 9th on SHR Media and Pundit Press. She will continue making people aware of the bad treatment of our veterans.
If you have questions for Liz there is two options for them. You can put them in chat or private message them to either GulfDogs or SmokieTX. Calling in is also an option.
