I am so excited to get to interview a SomarMacek from the band "Heart by Heart" on this weeks episode. I have been a big fan of this band since I got to interview Steve Fossen, the bands co - founder and Rock n Roll Hall of Famer (Heart). I have gotten to talk to Steve a couple of times and I thought I would talk to the lady who really brings the "Heart experience" to life for me.
We will also be doing our NFL draft preview show with my esteemed panel of NFL experts. Jeff, Myself, Lou Pica, Dom Guinta, Matt Selitri, and Todd Ricca will give you our thoughts on the first 15 picks of the NFL Draft. This has been a weird and busy offseason for the NFL with a couple of block buster trades and a ton of over priced signings. Hopefully my taleneted and knowledgable panel of NFL experts can put it in perspective for you
Make sure you tune in this Wednesday night for a very special edition of Hrad Rock n Sports starting at 6:30 pm est.
Keep on Rockn'!!!!!
Slave owner theology. Black supremacy theology. Last days laziness theology. Political ignorance theology. Spiritually weak buster theology. Just love Jesus but don't study nothing theology. Modem day Pharisee theology. Sheesh. The church in general--and the black church in particular--is full of false wack doctrines that not only weaken the church but run off the men they should be attracting? What's the answer to these false teachings? The ICE Men will discuss solutions Sunday--in The Barbershop!

Check out our latest Grindhouse segment this Saturday airing at 6pm EST when your favorite Podcast Avengers (the "Uncanny Daryll B., Claire Lanay, Capt, Kirk and Dburt) discuss current pop/pulp cultural phenomena: more on the passing of iconic musician, Prince (but look out for a definitive Afronerd Radio Prince retrospective coming up on Sunday); some details have come forward regarding the Agents of SHIELD spinoff series, Marvel's Most Wanted; Orphan Black returns for season 4 (and Game of Thrones S7); thoughts about Marvel/Disney removing The Inhumans from their release schedule; the Krypton prequel Syfy series is still a go; the trailer for Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua's Magnificent Seven remake hits the cyberwebs; we never did speak about Nicole Beharie's exit from Sleepy Hollow and by extension the seemingly limited minority lifespan in sci-fi/ fantasy IPs (Sembene in Penny Dreadful?) ; the Rust video game causes racial angst and controversy the CW premieres the new Containment series after The Flash; RDJ/Iron Man is a safe bet for the new Spider-Man but maybe not Michael Keaton and lastly, SHIELD's Chloe Bennet talks about diversity at Marvel. Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.

Howdy! Let's get to the point-straight with no chaser, please! Welcome to the latest episode of Afronerd Radio's GrindHouse podcast, airing this Saturday at 6pm EST. Your favorite Podcast Enterprise crew (the "uncanny" Daryll B., Claire Lanay, Capt. Kirk and Dburt) beams in to discuss the latest going ons in pulpdom: we interview comic creator, Paul Louise-Julie regarding his latest work, The Pack (African Lycanthropes? BUY IT!); our impressions of this week's release of the Doctor Strange trailer as well as photos of Scarlet Johansson's forthcoming Ghost in the Shell-are both films displaying digitized bias by having White actors appropriating Asian culture and phenotypes?; are theater owners really considering giving a free pass to moviegoers who would like to text while a film is in progress; Nate Parker's Birth of a Nation trailer hits the cyberwebs this past week; and now the second issue of Ta-nehisi Coates' Black Panther tops the retailers' advance reorder list; and it appears that the call for diversity has been answered in the Sony/Marvel Spiderman: Homecoming reboot with its multi-racial casting additions (and then there's Birdman-Batman's Michael Keaton). And lastly, the crew will address additional comic, video game and pop culture news that occurred this week. Call live at 646-915-9620.
