Carla and I will be interviewing the wonderful Annette Aben.
Annette Rochelle Aben calls 2 places home, Toledo, Oh and the great State of Michigan where she was born and currently lives. Writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil, Annette still has the very first book of poetry she wrote. It was in the 5th grade and is filled with the trials and tribulations of unrequited love.
The years between pouring her heart out in that dime store notebook and the publishing of Empowered Women of Social Media 44 women finding their “voices” using the Power of Social Networking have been filled with thousands more poems, prose, newspaper articles, journal entries, essays, scripts, newsletters and yes, 2 self-published books (Choose the 2-step plan and Perspective it’s all about replacing one thought with another available on Amazon). Even though Annette has always enjoyed successful careers in communications (teaching, radio, television, and stage) writing remains the home of her heart.
When Annette thinks of the ideal future, it definitely includes more and more writing, publishing and being able to help others find their voices through sharing what is in their minds and on their hearts. You can find what Annette is writing on a regular basis by visiting www.themagichappens.com where she is an Editor as well as a contributing writer.

This month on the "Inspiration for a Lifetime" Facebook page, the topic is forgiveness so I thought this was a perfect way to end the last week of it.
This month has been a blessing for me to really search my heart and forgive in ways that I haven't. I realized that I have struggled with forgiving myself for years which not only lead me to continue in sin in the past, but also to easily find fault in others or not have ability to forgive. I am not saying that things were not spitefully done to me for no reason, but I also did some sinful things to others as well (which also stemmed from past unforgiveness). I think we build up pride and we forget we ourselves need to be forgiven and that God has forgives us daily.
Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."
Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
Matthew 6:15 "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--A fourteen-year-old girl goes into a beauty
supply store to get a pair of non-prescription colored contacts. The next day, she suffers the wrath of a cornea-eating disease caused by an optical parasite. She never removed the lenses from her eyes before going to sleep, and she cleaned her lenses with regular tap water instead of the solution made for contact lenses. Criticisms vary, siding with the victim against the store for providing false information and substandard products, while others blame the teen and her parents. Are these the culprits of this tragedy, or does the real problem lie within our children's obsessive pursuit of beauty a la Hollywood? Join in tonight @ 11 PM EST by calling 347-337-9967.
Join me tomorrow night LIVE @ 8 P.M. on Blogtalk Radio Alamo Speaks, As I will conduct a interview with Richmond,CA Native and City Council Candidate D Demond King “You do not have to live the rest of your life feeling unqualified. Liberate Yourself.”D. Demond King lives by these words, and he is passionate about spreading the message. A native of Richmond, he knows firsthand what is needed to overcome the crime, drugs, and violence on the streets of this East Bay city because he has lived it.
Recognizing his own level of self-neglect, he changed his mindset and his lifestyle, focusing on finding his purpose and defining the influence he would have over his own life.In 2011, he co-founded the Redemption Center, a socio-economic and personal development organization that promotes social enterprise while advocating for social equality.“The thing about redemption is that when it’s genuine, it always translates into service,” said King, reflecting on his personal road of self-recovery and redemption. He says it is through random acts of kindness, simply doing things for others without expectation of something in return..

How often does a young mind consult someone for some needed words of comfort? Listening is very very very important. L. O. V. E. ( letting others voice their expressions ) shared by Imam Faheem Shuaibe as information shared with him by his co host on Wealth Creation presentation on Monday evenings. What about faith? I now ask and the thought out acronym that comes to my mind is F.A.I.T.H. ( facing all issues truthfully heals ); How about trust?, you may ask. thankfully I am seeing this T.R.U.S.T. My guest is Debra Pyka, a mother who is trying to bring awareness to not only prevent suicide, but to warn of the dangers of sports and head trauma to our youth. She will be discussing her son Joseph's life story, playing sports, CTE which led to years of depression and ultimately, his suicide. Joseph's brother Seth will join us, since they played sports all through their childhood together. She has tried to contact politicians, White House and Michelle Obama, with no one concerned or responding to her. She also wants to shed light on the responsibility of the NFL with the research started 20 years ago, to warn all parents of the dangers of concussions/head trauma and future effects, which the NFL denied for many years. More young people are dying from sports related injuries than ever. www.sportslegacy.org/research/legacy-donors/joseph-chernach
