Tonight I'll break down the Blackhawks' 5-4 Overtime loss to the Vancouver Canucks, as well as the Bulls finally getting a dominant win over a poor team at home. The Bulls have won 3 straight and opened their home stand with a win, but have a tough game tonight against the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers. The Blackhawks have dropped the first 2 of their 8 straight home games, getting 2 points sending each contest to OT/shootout. Which of these teams could benefit more from home court (or home ice) advantage in the playoffs? Both teams are currently in the middle of the pack in conference playoff seeding. Which team needs to push for a higher seed more? I'm taking callers @ (347) 327-9183, so call in and give me your take!
There are definitely some perks in having your own reality show especially when you're trying to raise funding for the most notorious breed of dog in the world. The TV show raises awareness to the cause and allows us to educate those that otherwise would be following the the absurd words of news reporters, insurnace underwriters and ignorant landlords. Of course having a show now getting ready to go into it's 7th season, also helps with getting dogs homes that otherwise would stil be sitting in our kennel. But.....there is a flip side. Having an internationally recognized TV show also brings out the crazies, the obsessed and thousands upon thousands of emails and phone calls to take unwanted or dogs in need of help. I will go behind the scenes with not only our TV show but what goes on behind the closed doors of the rescue and give you the dirty details of life on the (Animal) Planet.
The Bulls fell back to earth after a strong victory over the Thunder on Thursday night, losing their next three games. The stretch of 4 games in 5 days showed just how short-handed this Bulls team is without 3 of their best players healthy. But E'Twaun Moore, Nikola Mirotic and Tony Snell continue to shine. Off the court, Derrick Rose spoke to the media yesterday for the first time since undergoing his 3rd knee surgery. He made no guarantees, but sounded optimistic about returning this season. Meanwhile, the Bears have been busy the last few days. Brandon Marshall is gone, Jay Cutler is not, and the Bears started their free agency process with a big signing. Other players are in the rumor mill. What's your take on the Bulls 3 game losing streak and Rose's words to the media? How do you feel about Marshall leaving and Cutler staying? Who do you want the Bears to sign in free agency? Phone lines open for you! (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
Tonight I'll break down the surprising Bulls win over the Golden State Warriors, perhaps the best team in the NBA. Derrick Rose had a tough night but made the shot that mattered. I'll also break down the Blackhawks loss to the L.A. Kings last night and give my thoughts on the state of the Hawks, plus their budding rivalry with the Kings. I have two questions for you tonight: Are you giving credit to Rose for the game-winner, or judging him for the 11 turnovers? And, which team do you see going further in the playoffs, Bulls or Blackhawks?

I'm breaking down the first games of the NCAA tourney and offering my pick to win it all. I'll give you a hint: it's not Kentucky. The Bears remain fairly quiet on the free agency market, but have their eye on a certain running back in the draft. The Bulls got a much needed win over the Indiana Pacers last night, as rookie Nikola Mirotic continues to shine. Meanwhile, Tom Thibodeau vocalizes his grievances regarding Joakim Noah's minutes restriction. The Blackhawks got big wins over two New York teams on back to back nights, and Corey Crawford is playing like a man possessed. All this and your phone calls @ (347) 327-9183. The Chicago Bears have slowed their roll on the free agent market, which means increasing speculation regarding the upcoming NFL draft. What position do the Bears still desperately need? The Chicago Bulls meanwhile, have lost 5 of their last 6 and look utterly lost and hopeless without three of their key players. What can be done to salvage the season and their spot in the standings? The Blackhawks take on the New York Islanders tonight, having won two straight games where they finally got some production from their power play. Several players that had gone missing on the score sheet showed up. Can the Blackhawks keep it rolling without Patrick Kane? All this and your phone calls (347) 327-9183!

The Chicago Bulls announced Derrick Rose had an MRI which showed a medial meniscus tear of the right knee that will require surgery. A timetable for Rose’s recovery will be given following his surgery.
That leaves Chicago with Aaron Brooks and Kirk Hinrich as the current options at point guard.
Nate Robinson is an intriguing option for Chicago on the free agent market. Robinson played well for the Bulls during the 2013 playoffs where he averaged 16.3 points per game.
With that in mind, Michael Scotto of SheridanHoops.com joined Yahoo! Sports Radio and host Anthony Pepe to discuss the immediate future for Derrick Rose, whom the Chicago Bulls will target as a potential replacement and the future of coach Tom Thibodeau.
So this is the first episode of what I hope will turn into an ongong "discussion". I created this interactive show for all of you to be able to join in and share the love I have for dogs of all sorts and how much they have affected my life. This forum is for anyone who may want dog training advice, human training advice (hahaha) and questions, comments and concerns for just about anything to do with this insanity that I now live in. These will be LIVE, 1 hour shows, every Saturday night. You can call in and talk to me personally and we will even have guests from time to time. But be forewarned....this is the raw and uncensored version of Tia Torres.....so if you can't deal with an occasional "F" bomb or find it religiously offensive if I use "Xmas" as opposed to "Christmas"....probably not the place for you to hang out.
Just remember....life's too short....so bite hard!
After receiving the good news regarding Derrick Rose's impending return in time for the playoffs, the Chicago Bulls can't seem to catch a break, suffering injuries to two more key players over the weekend. Who on the Bulls roster can be that "next man up" and compensate for the loss in production from the team's star players? Meanwhile the Chicago Blackhawks were busy at the NHL trade deadline, acquiring veteran pieces to alleviate the loss of Patrick Kane and bolster their thin defense. Can the new guys help the Hawks make it deep enough into the playoffs for Kane to return? A 5-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes last night certainly helped ease the pain and instill some confidence within the team's locker room. With all that's going on for the Bulls and Hawks, are you looking at the positives or negatives? I've got open phone lines for you! (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
Tonight I talk about the recent struggles of the Chicago Bulls, including last night's 105-99 loss to the visiting Washington Wizards. What is wrong with this team, which has lost 4 of its last 5 games? What piece is missing? Also, rumors are swirling that John Fox is going to be hired as the next Head Coach of the Chicago Bears. Do you like this hire? We'll talk about Fox's credentials, and the Bears front office uncharacteristically hiring someone with previous head coaching experience. And what position do you want the Bears to focus on in the upcoming NFL draft? I'll be taking callers! I want to hear what you think!
Tonight I'm talking about the Chicago Blackhawks continuing their struggles, dropping two more home games over the weekend in ugly fashion. With the NHL trade deadline approaching, would you rather see the Hawks make a move to shore up their defense or help their recently anemic offense? The Chicago Bulls have won 6 of their last 7, but Derrick Rose remains consistently inconsistent while Joakim Noah and some role players have stepped up their game. If you could have the MVP Derrick of old OR the Defensive Player of the Year Noah of last season, which would you rather have? I've got open phone lines for you! (347) 327-9183. BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
Tonight I welcome in Joe Ostrowski, Host and Executive Producer at 670 The Score here in Chicago. I'll ask Joe about the recent talk surrounding Chicago Bears big-timers Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. He'll also offer up his thoughts on the recent struggles of the Chicago Bulls, who fell to the Houston Rockets 101-90 on Wednesday night. I'll have open phone lines later in the show, so call in @ (347) 327-9183 ! I want your thoughts on whether the Bears should keep Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall or get rid of them. Who or what is the problem with these Bulls? Is the Blackhawks recent slump starting to worry you?
