Natalie Christine Johnson is one of Hollywood South’s most in-demand makeup artists. With a background in Psychology and a degree in fine arts from the University of New Orleans, Johnson began her career with M.A.C. because a fellow makeup artist happened to like the way she did her makeup when she happened upon her while working in a mall. Natalie used any kind of canvas she could get her hands on and realized that a face was just another medium. She quickly made the move into film and television. With almost 50 productions under her belt in the past 3 years, Johnson has worked on everything from big budget feature films such as the widely popular Left Behind series with Nicolas Cage, to music videos, network and reality TV, and the Sundance darling Sex, Guaranteed where she met and worked with Stephen Dorff. After working together on that project he later asked her to be his personal makeup artist for their next project together, The American Hero. Her commercial work ranges from local universities to clients like McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Visa and the NFL. Expanding from beauty to special effects makeup, Johnson has worked for the last three years as a makeup department head and creative consultant for the independent and festival award winning production company, Little to N.O. Budget Films. Working closely with the director and writers, her vision helped develop worlds of zombies, ghosts, and surreal carnivals. She recently worked on the projects Abattoir and Cold Moon. You can educate your kids about budgeting, prices, and sales tax at the grocery store. You can explain mortages, interest rates, student loans and credit cards to your teenagers. Paying your children commissions for doing their chores will help them make the connection between work and money at an early age. Teaching your kids about money can be a fun, hands-on experience for both of you!
With the amount of films being release every year, it's a wonder how the major studios can get it all done. Well a surprising number of the movies being made today aren't being made or distributed by the major studios at all. Independent films, also known by Indie films, are being produced and distributed at and incredible rate and are part of what's been fueling much of our movie entertainment for a number of years now. So our discussion this episode of A Reel Point Of View stems from these two questions: What is a true Indie Film, and how are Indie Films distributed on a shoe-string budget? To help us answer these questions and other those posed in our conversation, will be our guest from the newly launched film, arts and entertainment magazine "Quiet On The Set".
This week on the Friday Night SuperShow, Join the Tag Team champs, Lee "The Mouth" Peer and Mr. Friday Night, Dennis Ford, as well as their new tag team partner, Jennifer Long ( http://thefifthcolumnnews.com/ ), as they take on the biggest topics of the week in the original no holds barred talk radio roundtable-- from forced vaccinations in California, to blatant extortion in Oregon, and the ever violently progressing police state, The Friday Night SuperShow has the information and solutions you need to know!
An insider nicknamed " a producer named the Grouch" informed me in 1985, of his personal knowledge that Pres. Kimball had been threatened by US President Jimmy Carter during a visit in 1979 so that the tax exempt status would be therefore withdrawn from the LDS Church, and that he (Carter) had similarly extorted Bob Jones University a year previous in just such a manner concerning their policy against interracial dating on campus. Thus both caved before the "born-again" onslaught of Jimmy Carter, especially against the Mormons, whom he also considered a "cult", etc. Carter had come out to Salt Lake for a visit, specifically with this extortion in mind, in further fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel the prophet:
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [it] unto the end.
The wretched Carter then had the Secret Service knock upon my door for a revelation I had received concerning these things.
