He is best known for his role as Roger "Raj" Thomas on the 1970s ABC sitcom What's Happening!!, and its 1980s syndicated sequel, What's Happening Now!!, and for his recurring role as Mr. Omar on Everybody Hates Chris.Thomas began his professional acting career as a Broadway actor, appearing in the 1974 revival production of Love for Love and in the 1975 revival of The Member of the Wedding. Both shows starred actress Glenn Close. Shortly after he moved to LA to pursue a career as a TV/film actor. In the fall of 1975 he received a role on an episode of The Jeffersons. It was during the taping of the show that he learned of an audition for the upcoming comedy sitcom What's Happening!!, loosely based on the 1975 film Cooley High. He eventually went on to win the role of Roger "Raj" Thomas on the show, which aired from 1976 to 1979.
During the show's run, Thomas was involved in other acting film and TV projects including Baretta, Roots, The Brady Bunch Hour and the film A Piece of the Action starring Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby. Don Minenger started out in modeling when he was 27 years old but after dealing with some disappointments and frustrating circumstances he decided to give it up. He gave up on the whole industry and decided to concentrate on raising his kids. It was not until June 2011 that an agency reached out to him and offered to help him get back into the industry, he was very hesitant to accept and told them he would call them back. He spent two weeks thinking about it, he decided to sign with them for six months and they told him that if they could not find any work for him within those six months that they could dissolve the contract. He waited and nothing came through and it made him depressed and he told himself that this is not for me. He received a call from a lady named Theresa that was producing an off-Broadway show in New York City. He landed the role and went on to work with her from 2011 to present in four of her productions. He also did another off-Broadway play with another very talented producer and writer named Nisi Newsom. Then he was discovered by an upcoming film director by the name of Nevaughn Brown. In between him doing plays back in 2012, he worked with Mr. Brown on a film called (Love Like This) and is currently working with him on some other projects. They are also in partnership with a magazine called (The Everyday Girl Magazine). He is currently writing a sitcom called (The Family) and also working on writing his first off-Broadway play called (Am I My Brothers’ Keeper). He is also looking to do some workshops for children that want to learn about the business the right way.

For the 3rd time in 4 years, the New York Rangers are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals, and Blueshirt Underground Radio is ready to celebrate!
Blueshirt Underground Radio was founded in June of 2009, and is now in its sixth year of being the only live radio broadcast devoted to the New York Rangers. Hosted by lifelong Ranger fans Eddie "The Mouth" Gieck and Jim Schmiedeberg, Blueshirt Underground Radio is not some boring podcast that just drones on and on. It's a lively discussion of everything related to the Rangers, where nothing is off-limits. Rants about the players, announcers, and opponents are commonplace, and no one is off limits. It is a show that prides itself in dishing out tough love to the team it adores.
Not only is the show funny and entertaining, it is also fully interactive. It's the only radio show you can call into any time of year and talk Ranger hockey. We love taking calls, and we also chat with you in our live chatroom throughout the show. You can log into our chat using your Facebook account, or by registering on blogtalkradio.com
