It's March 15th, 2015, and it is time for the Election Boycott Advocates on Carson's Corner. A recent report by the American Justice Department confirms what we the working class have already known: rampant racism within American police departments. As the crises of capitalism continues to take its toll upon the working class, we can expect more racism in violence to divide the working class. The question is, what can we workers do about it? How should we respond to the underlying priorities of capitalism? Plus, we'll have a discussion on the international front about what is going on in the Ukraine, Greece, and with the BRIC nations. We'll also take your calls at any time during the program.
Please make sure to support the Election Boycott Advocates. You can visit the Election Boycott Advocates a few different ways: http://electionboycott.weebly.com or http://facebook.com/electionboycottadvocates

Remember when "Afghanistan" became "AFPAC" in the second half of the last decade? Concepts morph the more you study them.
Just as you started to get used to the 'Pacific Pivot" - in case you missed it this summer, it is morphing in to the Indo-Pacific Pivot.
Extending our view from WESTPAC in to the Indian Ocean, how are things changing that will shape the geo-strategic environment from Goa, Darwin, Yokohama, Hainan, to Vladivostok?
Our guest to discuss this and more will be Dr. Toshi Yoshihara, Professor of Strategy and John A. van Beuren Chair of Asia-Pacific Studies at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and author of Red Star over the Pacific, that was just translated into Chinese.
A returning guest to Midrats, Dr. Yoshihara some of the last few months in China and India, bringing an up to date perspective on this growing center of power and influence.
So stocks have taken some big plunges. Obviously the sky is falling and we need to run for cover.
Not really. It’s all explainable. So what should you be thinking and doing?
Let’s bring in our Informed Not Inflamed financial expert Hugh Anderson – coming to us from Las Vegas.
Hugh is with High Tower Las Vegas, a financial consulting firm.
Hugh, thanks for joining us.
Let’s hit a couple of the causes for the stock drop. First, it could just be plain old profit-taking. I mean this has been a good run for 5 to 6 years.
Second, China has slowed. The world needs China to buy stuff from all of us.
Third reason is the gradual end of Quantitative Easing makes stocks less attractive to investors as a return.
Let’s look at its effect overseas too. All the BRICS are feeling it plus Turkey is wallowing now. Explain how Q-E means higher borrowing rates for these countries.
But this is not the end of the world. It is merely the world re-balancing, right?
What do you tell clients who are worried about their portfolios?
What would you be telling US lawmakers?
Hugh Anderson is our Informed Not Inflamed financial expert Hugh Anderson. Hugh is with High Tower Las Vegas, a financial consulting firm in Las Vegas.
And folks, thanks for joining us. We will catch you next time.
