Listen to Los Angeles poet Brendan Constantine's conversation with Poetry Super Highway proprieter Rick Lupert about his new collection "The Gettysburg Undress" – Poems written in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Richmond and Fredericksburg, Virginia, Baltimore Maryland, and, of course, Allentown, Pennsylvania. "The Gettysburg Undress" is newly out as the first title in Rothco Press' Caffeine Poetry Series. Poetry from the collection was read out-loud and questions were asked and answered and the concept of writing poems in the bathrooms of famous buildings was delved into as these two old friends chatted about craft, the experience of writing the book and more. Its a Pipebomb Radio Christmas and what a better way to celebrate the holidays than by having on a WWE Hall of Famer... the legendary, George "The Animal" Steele! WWE has been home to some of the wildest and most unpredictable Superstars in sports-entertainment history. However, with his trademark green tongue, hairy torso and penchant for eating turnbuckles, George "The Animal" Steele might be the most unorthodox man to step foot in a WWE ring. However, while he was always seen as a savage during his WWE tenure, Steele is actually a very well-educated man. Prior to breaking into sports-entertainment, Steele received his Masters Degree from Central Michigan University and became a high school teacher and wrestling coach in the Detroit area. It was during his teaching stint that he began moonlighting in sports-entertainment, working in the Detroit-area promotions en route to the global phenomenon that is WWE where he would eventually make his legend known. We will speak to George about all that and so much more when he joins us on the final guest featured show of 2014!
Too many athletes miss the chance to play in college because they didn't know what to do. Brendan Kennedy of National Scouting Report ("NSR") is here for a one hour chat about the college recruiting process for high school players.
"I wish I had met you earlier in the recruiting process," is a phrase I hear far too often, says Brendan Kennedy, " Don't miss out on an opportunity to be recruited."
NSR is the most revered high school scouting and college recruiting organization in the world. Since 1980, college coaches have depended on NSR to present quality prospects for recognition, evaluation and recruitment.
Perry Steele is a one of a kind. Black? You bet your (whatever color) ass! Rough and tumble, afro centric libertarianism! Talk show host, Veteran, Realist, and a good friend who has more heart and courage than most in the “Liberty Movement”.
But why did he stop? Why when even Blog Talk Radio was cutting him checks did he ‘Check Out’ and stop voicing his views?
Why did my friend, Perry Steele, ‘Go Galt’ and can we get him to saddle up again and, in his own irrepressible way, speak truth to power and teach that we are all in this together.
It is my honor to welcome Perry to We Resisters Radio. I spent many a challenging but stimulating hour with him and his listeners on ‘The Perry Steele Show’. Now it is with pleasure we welcome him back to the airwaves of the Net and back to the fight on We Resisters Radio.
If being challenged to do more for Liberty will offend you; go back to ‘Dances With The Stars’, we don’t care for your ‘support’. But if you believe we owe it to our children an grand children to leave them free from Tyranny, buckle up and join us. We Resisters and Perry Steele make a powerful mix!

What’s Blogging Got To Do With It? I'm Jennifer Perry, entertainment publicist and owner of Lone Wolf Communications, LLC. Every week I share all sorts of ways in which authors can promote their books and themselves.
The author’s platform helps them bond with their audience and build a relationship. Blogging is a strong way to do this for many reasons. Your readers enjoy feeling a connection with you and leaving comments for you. They also like knowing any updates on your publishing dates, television or radio appearances and live events where they can see you.
If you are identified strongly with a particular genre of literature the opportunity to connect on a grand scale with fans and other writers is out of this world.
It is a pleasure to have two special guests on this show. A woman who is a writer, editor, publisher, reader, and – yes, there’s more – blogger of The Horrifically Horrifying Horror Blog. Emma Audsley is also a reviewer for The British Fantasy Society.
Emma's colleague Justin Steele, writer and editor of The Arkham Digest, has frighteningly useful tips on blogging for authors. Justin also had this to share with listeners. "Thank you very much for listening! If you have a penchant for the dark, the unexplained, and the numinous, I invite you to join me over on my blog, The Arkham Digest, and help me explore the best that weird fiction has to offer."
This will be a great show, though I’m wondering if I should have some spooky sounds, screams, groans, or a bit of Bach’s toccata and fugue in Dm to help Emma feel at home.
On this episode of the Yanks Go Yard Radio Show, brought to you by KNODA.com, host and senior staff writer Ricky Keeler gives his take on the mega contract signed by Giancarlo Stanton in Miami, the Russell Martin to Toronto signing, and Jason Heyward being traded to the Cardinals.

Ferguson grand jury makes decision; Governor urges calm
John Bacon and Yamiche Alcindor, USA TODAY 6:49 p.m. EST November 24, 2014
A grand jury in Missouri has reached a decision as to whether or not to charge officer Darren Brown in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
A St. Louis County grand jury reached a decision Monday on whether to indict Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson, whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen in August touched off weeks of sometimes violent protests.
Plans were in place for an evening announcement of the long-awaited decision on whether Wilson will face charges in the death of teenager Michael Brown. Officials said the decision would be announced at 8 p.m. CT at the courthouse in the St. Louis County seat of Clayton, Mo.
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon called for calm and urged that "regardless of the decision, people on all sides show tolerance, mutual respect and restraint.''
He said several local churches would provide shelter, safe haven and medical care in the event of unrest.
St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley also called for calm in an evening news conference. "This is not the time to turn on each other; it is a time to turn to each other. We are one community,'' he said.
St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay acknowledged the case "has deeply divided us'' but said "turning violent or damaging property will not be tolerated.''
"The world will be watching us,'' Slay said.

Combining a scientist’s clear knowledge with a deep spiritual understanding of the inter-connectedness of all life, she reveals the amazing power our pets and wildlife have to heal and enrich our lives. By learning to see the world as animals see it, we can heed their urgent call and restore paradise on earth. lifelong animal advocate and doctor of veterinary medicine Linda Bender offers us a wealth of extraordinary stories and research-based evidence indicating animals have deeply perceptive–even extrasensory–abilities, especially when love is involved.
“What I discovered at six years old has continued to be true: that in rescuing an animal, I rescue myself. This reciprocity between animals and humans is woven into the very fabric of Creation. It is the ecology of Paradise.” ~ Linda Bender
