Loving and Living With ADD/ADHD as a Part of Your Life

    Do you live with ADD/ADHD?
Do you love somebody with ADD/ADHD?
Do you live with someone who is creative, spontaneous and random?

The labels of ADD/ADHD are often depicted as a bad thing with a lot of struggle attached to it.
What if you could shift your perspective about that situation?
What if there is a way of being in allowance for the characteristics of this way of being in the world that would make your relationship much easier?

Today on Lighten Up with Jen we are talking and sharing insights, perspective shifts and more to bring understanding, compassion and most of all communication to the energy of ADD/ADHD within any relationship! Join Jen Halterman and Cheri Gillham as they explore this topic from within their own personal experiences.

Fear (False evidence of appearing real)

Fear is the #1 reason women do not know who they truly are.  Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.  They are fearful to find their true selves because they may discover they do not like who they truly are.  They fear greatly they would lose the crutch of holding on to all of their baggage because this is the only thing they have ever known.  Our goal is to move them to have faith in themselves and let go of their fear.  We will show them how fear can paralyze someone from moving forward in every areas of their lives.

    Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a very hard thing to do when someone has hurt you.  Forgiveness is the key to opening up a new world waiting for you.  Once someone realizes they can let go of their fear and begin to make peace with their past, they will learn how to move into the area of unforgiveness with themselves and others to the beautiful thing called forgiveness.  They will no longer blame the situation or person who may have caused them the damaged emotions.  Once they forgive, they can learn how to be free.

    Couch Conversations ... Family Focus

    in Family

FOCUS ON THE FAMILY Yes, we have changed things up a bit. WHY?? Because many of our self issues and our society issues start with the family. Family is our first teachers about the world around us and they leave lasting impressions that can not be erased. So we will speak to these issues, speak about these issues and plan healthier ways to address them. The statistics on positive family interaction are on the decline greatly and we aim to help stop the downward spiral our society is on. So we are being the change that we want to see in the world and we are Focusing on the Family!! COUCH CONVERSATIONS is an outreach of Blessed And Know It Ministries and is hosted by #REVJ. Join us live Tues., Wed., and Thurs. mornings at 7 a.m. EST.
