If you were to look up the definition of the word "versatility" in a dictionary of performers, chances are you'd find the name BRIAN COPELAND somewhere near the top. The multitalented comedian, writer, television host, talk radio host and commentator has basked in the glow of both public and critical acclaim for nearly a decade. Brian's incisive, cutting-edge standup comedy cuts to the heart of some of our most serious social and political problems and has earned him spots as the opening act for such diverse artists as Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Dionne Warwick, Donna Summer, Peabo Bryson, Steve Allen, Dana Carvey and Aretha Franklin among others.
In addition to his work in broadcasting and on the comedy stage, Brian is a serious writer with articles appearing in national newspapers and magazines. He’s here today today to talk about depression and his book Not A Genuine Black Man.”
A single father, Brian Copeland lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his children Adam, Carolyn and Casey.

A musical painter with his words, Toy Brandon grew up in the city of Baton Rouge, LA. Influenced from an early age by his city, family, and various genres of music, Toy began experimenting with the art form known as “beat boxing” at the age of 11 with his older cousins. As he progressed in his musical creativity, Toy Brandon became engulfed in the local Louisiana southern-style Hip Hop scene. Heavily inspired by local Hip Hop celebrity Z-ro Mo City Don, Toy’s music reflects a harmonic relationship between him and life in Baton Rouge. At 13, Toy released his first single entitled “I Feel Played” off his debut mixtape The Switch Up- a song that narrates the heartbreak of teenage love. Since the release of his single and mixtape, Toy Brandon has received local stardom and a steadily building fanbase.
Currently, Toy is working on releasing his next mixtape called Most Hated later this year. You can find his latest news, music, and updates on Facebook: Toy Brandon.
