Danny Bonaduce Shares Stories From The Partridge Family to Brady Bunch!

    in Pop Culture

NWP welcomes Danny Bonaduce!  Danny relives stories from the Partridge Family TV series and talks about their connections to the Brady Bunch.

Danny started at the age of ten starring as Danny Partridge on the TV series The Partridge Family. On the show the band’s manager played by Dave Madden supported Danny outside the show. Bonaduce has said that he owes a lot to Madden, who took him into his home during his real life family's domestic problems. At the end of the series, Bonaduce's late teens and twenties saw drug abuse and a period of homelessness. In the late 1980s, Bonaduce had become an on-air radio personality. In the early 1990s David Cassidy signed Bonaduce on as his opening act. Since that time, Bonaduce has continued working regularly as a media personality.

    SuperBowl Hangover!

    in Comedy

Babies will be made, and wives will be beat. All because of a game.

Drunk drivers will be all over the road. Driving while high on weed or other drugs is the same thing. Don't be a bahstad!

Peyton Manning has an annoying weirdly deep voice. It make me want to poop.

Cam Newton keeps sneezing into his arm. Someone give him a benadryl.

Anonymous is at it again, being basement tough guys while smelling like BO and mildew.

    I heard Peyton yell "NEBRASKA!"

    ALLAH OMAHA!

As I type this, Denver scored another touch down. Looks like Peyton had another ring like his little brother.

I'm waiting for baseball to start.

A crane in Manhatten collapsed, and was caught on camera by an italian resident. All you could hear him say was beep beep beeeeeeep.

Tom Brady was booed during the pre-game introductions.Bill Belicheck paid the crowd to boo.

Iowa was fun, Hils and Bern in essentialy a tie, Cruz beating Trump, and Marco rising. Last nights GOP debate was fun to watch. The govs taking turns to beat up on Marco, Ttrump getting a free pass and the Cruzinator being accused of drity tricks. Ben missing his que to enter the stage just about summed up what many people feel about him, too demur to play with this bunch of hooligans.

The Rules For US Versus The Rules For Them Part II

    in Pop Culture

This episode in the 2nd part of " The Rules for US versus the Rules for Them" episode.  In the previous episode I discussed how non-minority athletes and entertainers can do certain things or act a certain way , but if an athlete or entertainer who is a minority does those same things and act in the same way; there actions are then scrutinized by the media and then NOT accepted by the public once the media has molded the situation. Now, with the Super bowl being just a few days away there is a polarizing subplot in the air.  Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton has caught a lot of backlash from the media because of his end zone dances and having fun while winning games, but it is perfectly acceptable for Aaron Rodgers to have an end zone celebration, acceptable for Peyton to curse out Julius Thomas on the field during the 2014 AFC Chaampionship game, or even acceptable for Tom Brady to talk trash on the field while being mic'd up. Cam is viewed as arrogant, but Manning, Rodgers, and Brady are firey competitors.  Cam is being labled as "the villan" going into Super Bowl 50 because most media outlets want Peyton Manning to go out on top by winning his last appearance in the Super Bowl.  Now, the media is putting Cam in a no win situation with the public. If Cam and the Panthers beat Peyton and the Broncos, the he will be "the villan", but if Peyton wins it, Peyton will be branded as one of the greatest QBs of all times and people will say Cam choked. Is that fair? No, but the media has the power to do that. Peyton is still one of the greatest of all-time even without a win the Super Bowl. Why does the public NOT see that?  The media molds the public's perception. Call In at 323.417.6807 with questions.
