As a wife, mother, friend, coach and business woman, I have experienced the highest joys of happiness and the lowest pains of loss. My purpose and passion is to use the experiences of my journey to help others embrace their own. All people start from the same place of being whole when we are born. Most of our lives we strive to find our way back to feeling whole. Life is about this journey: the journey of removing the blocks preventing us from having peace, love and success. Whatever your priorities are – family, relationships, spirituality, professional or financial – I am invested in helping you achieve personal satisfaction and balance.
Growing up in Los Angeles, my life has been strengthened by the diversity of the connections I’ve made. My parents are life-long political activists and their commitment to equality and justice for all exposed me to diverse cultures, religions, languages and socioeconomic backgrounds. Understanding this, I carried this thread throughout my educational journey by studying inter-group conflict and the social costs of prejudice in undergrad at UCLA where I received a B.A. in Sociology and World Arts and Cultures.
I later focused on civil rights law and women’s legal rights in pursuit of my J.D. from the People’s College of Law. After working to promote equal access to public recreation services, I attended the Community Counselor Program at the Southern California Counseling Center where I learned techniques to help people face their struggles as a result of poverty and abuse. Through this journey, I affirmed my purpose in life—to advocate for empowerment through self-exploration.— Celia Ward-Wallace

Meet Celia Ward Wallace - who is a Community Leader, Inspirational Speaker, Life Coach and Author of “A Woman’s Guide to Having it All, Life Lessons to Live By.” I thought I had the perfect life: money in the bank, multiple rental properties, and a safe, secure job—until I lost it all. Through my journey back from rock bottom, I realized that a great life is not measured by what you have but by who you are. I am driven to use the experiences of my journey to help others embrace their own, find unity and make a difference in the world. I am on a mission to mobilize 1,000,000 people to stand in their power, live a life of contribution and to manifest their greatness, and I hope you will join me. You too have a gift in you that can change the future of our world for the better.

How do you as an individual, whether you are Black or otherwise contribute to the stability of America being completely diversified? Black America has always been classified as poor and down trodden, but what does it take to present equality? Diversity and Equality is needed in America. Black Americans has and as of today, still are suffering from inequality and injustices all over the United States. There are so many tragedies across America and the Justice Department continues to fall short in resolutions to put an end to Police brutalities, harassment, and racial profiling.
As an American of any race, what are you currently doing to eradicate all forms of injustice?
Do you stand strong on diversity in America?
As Black Americans, do you help to eliminate Black on Black crimes?
Prime examples of inequality and injustice in America are; The assinations of Sean Bell, Trayvon Martin, Troy Davis, Mike Brown, Roy Glenn, Jr., and Jermaine Ward.
I would like for you all to join the host in this continued fight for justice and equality. It has been the hosts' thoughts that Black America should Boycott America for Equality. It is evident that Justice has fallen short of Black America, so we should cut our associations and cease our spending outside of our own communities until we reach all manner of quality and justice is prevailed.
Listen to this entertaining interview as host Michael Harris interviews selling artist Betty Rhodes. With an unerring eye, she brings an imaginative approach to her interpretation of the world around her. Her wide subject range including landscapes, florals, animals and abstracts. Rhodes delights in surprising art lovers, who may not always know where her fancy will turn next. Rhodes is represented by a number of art galleries in Texas and beyond, and has been shown internationally. She attended Hunters School of Art in San Antonio and has studied with many of the country’s leading artists, including Joseph Mendez, Scott Christensen, Matt Smith, Don Ward, Ray Vinella, and Ann Templeton. "I take my art seriously, but not myself. My spontaneous and sometimes provocative perspective and ability to see the humor in situations makes my life and art more interesting."

Counselor Mandy Eppley speaks with marketing/branding specialist and philanthropist Charlie Elberson as he shares the story of how the sudden death of a colleague, who was a young mother, was a pivotal moment in his life that made him ask “am I living from my heart?” This caused a shift in his life as he started using this mantra of “living from the heart” as a compass on his journey. They also talk about how courageous it is to keep your heart open and tie this into Step 2 “Open Your Heart” from the Model of Heart-Centered Grief. During the latter part of the show they also discuss the importance of service and how giving creates and strengthens the human connection.
Charlie Elberson has the best life ever. A 30-year ad agency veteran, he helps Wray Ward’s clients create brilliant marketing and branding strategies. On top of that for seven years he’s been the Trustee of Reemprise Fund, making game-changing grants for visionary non-profits using a venture philanthropy model. In his free time Charlie plays in a middle-aged cover band, writes and cooks and keeps active at in church. He wears increasingly stronger-but-still-interesting glasses.
