There may be no greater loss than losing one’s ability to make sense of the real world. From Tragedy to Triumph is a tale of an incredible journey. It traces a path of young girl growing up in a humble Irish background to becoming a mother, a wife, and successful businesswomen only to have it all dashed by a terrible brain trauma that left her in the grips of confusion and terror. Against the backdrop of her life across continents; this is a story of one woman’s triumph against the odds. It involves a multiplicity of human dramas with each character playing an integral role. Supported by amazing jazz and theater personalities, her family and dearest friends Taylor tells a story of her terrible ordeal and the suffering of those who loved her. It also tells of her quest for justice in one of Canada's most protracted civil cases that provided little recompense for her years of suffering and losses.

These days there is a lot of talk in the media about domestic violence, football players and Post Concussion Syndrome, PCS. Brain Injury Radio - I HAD A DREAM -with Craig Sicilia

    in Radio

    I HAD A DREAM

M.L.K. is the master of advocacy a advocacy that changes hearts and minds knowing it takes generations of advocacy and hard work he began a journey that was not popular in the minds of those who stood to lose the most and those they influenced.  It was a fight started a hundred years before him and will be going on a hundred years after.  But the king taught man to stand up for what they believe, to not accept how things are.  He as well paid the ultimate price for his believes.  Until Dr. King we humans did not know what it was to stand up for something greater than ourselves  To stand up to change what people think and how they treat another person.  We will Honor Dr. King and talk about his history as it relates to our future.

So many of us who are living in the aftermath of a brain injury understand this.  And as people, our communities and society in general are largely clueless what brain injury means.  Hell it takes us survivors who live with it everyday years to even begin to understand.  We asking people to understand and accept something they cannot see.  And in many cases something we can’t explain or cope with.  And most of the time by the time we can begin to explain or understand it, there is no one left to share it with.  And like most movements those who feel so deeply and step up to bring change will never see the change in people’s hearts and minds.  You can have all the laws and acts and everything else but none of it means a thing until it is in people’s hearts and minds.

How do we change hearts and minds, how do we find each other.  Reach out find someone don’t be alone, then together find others.  Find that voice that we have in common and change the world.

    Getting Healthy

    in Politics

Everyday Americans are bombarded by multiple government approved toxins in our food, drink, medicine, etc. Don and Tomas have been warning our fellow citizens for years about corruption, treason and whatnot but the message is just not getting through. Why?

It's because the body and brain of so many Americans has been overwhelmed by poisons designed to debilitate the body, mind and at the end of the line the spirit - the soul. So Don and Tomas thought it might be a good idea to discuss cleaning up our act from these brain and body numbing elixers that have rendered so many of you to mere numbskulls who'll believe anything from a TV set.

Ask yourselves this question. When someone warns you of the deadly, debilitating effects of vaccines, fluoride, aspartame, GMO, etc. do you ponder and weigh that information or do you ignore, ridicule and chastise the person? Tune in Friday at 6PM and hopefully tune out your mind programmers and poison pushers in government and industry getting rich and powerful making you sick and dead.
