    Epiphany's House Welcomes Wil Gibson...

    in Poetry

There are some artists who are just rooted in your soul..who make no bullshyt excuses.....who just get right down to it...Wil Gibson is THAT artist... I promise..

Wil Gibson was born from a good idea and a bottle of bourbon. He was raised in some of the poorest communities northern Illinois and eastern Arkansas have to offer. He now lives in Portland (the one in Maine) and likes it a lot there (you probably would too). He writes too many love poems and not nearly enough of his novel. A proud (mistake prone) father of four who tries real hard and is still growing up.
He has performed with or opened for; Regie Gibson (no relation), Charlie Neville, Brother Ali, mybrightestdiamond, Toki Wright, Patricia Smith, and Kurtis Blow (among others) in dive bars, high schools, colleges, poetry slams, libraries, living rooms, restaurants, prisons, coffee houses, and churches from Bellingham, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts and beyond.
He was runner up at the 2010 and 2011 Arkansas Grand Slam, audience favorite 2010 Arkansas Grand Slam, three time (2008-2010) Portland, Maine/Port Veritas Grand Slam Champion, 2010 New Hampshire/Slam Free or Die Grand Slam Champion, has represented Portland, Maine six times (2008-2012, 2014) at the National Poetry Slam, including the 2011 team that made semifinals.
He has toured nationally solo and as part of:
Uncomfortable Laughter (w/ Beau Williams, Kait Rokowski, and Ryan McLellan)
guyslikeyou (w/ Beau Williams and Ryan McLellan)
is an honorary member of Chicago 4 Star Poetry(w/ Billy Tuggle, Andi Kauth, Rik Vazquez, Melanie “George” Decelles, Ashley Hart, and Patricia Smith)
and is a founding member of the Port Veritas artist collective.
He likes people and dogs a lot. He would like to pet your dog, talk to you a few minutes, and possibly give you a hug if that’s ok.

    in Music

    Introducing Ms D'z

Ms.D'z aka Deezy was born on November 15, 1989 in Baltimore Maryland, where she started as an artist in her early teens. She first became a part of Charm City's rap scene in 2008 when she joined a local rap group called TRP (Trait Razor Productions) . The group quickly made a name for themselves by performing at many Baltimore hot spots like Sonar, Bourbon Street, The Belvedere, Fishhead Cantina - just to name a few, and opening up for stars like Tyga from YMCMB

In 2013 Ms.D'z left the group to explore her music career as a solo artist. Now in 2014, Ms.D'z has completely reinvented her brand and image by publicly coming out in her music with her sexuality and standing out with her many tattoos and piercings. She has an appealing look to men with keeping it sexy but also grabs the females attention with her style and charm. She has a one of a kind delivery and her bars stand out on any track that she spits on. Deezy brings back the essence of Hip-Hop by rapping over beats that have an old school hip-hop feel to it, but she also keeps up with the current trends in today's music
