In honor of Jim Beam’s 150th birthday, wei took a trip to Clermont, Kentucky to tour the place where bourbon is born. We visited the Jim Beam distillery and warehouses and got an up close look - and taste - of the bourbon making process.
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting and interviewing Jim Beam Noe - great grandson of Jim Beam. For today’s show we thought we’d play that interview for you. The Stillhouse was a little noisy and our audio quality is rough at times, but if you pour yourself a tall glass of bourbon, plop yourself down in a rocking chair, and give it a listen, you’re going to want to hit the Bourbon Trail and pay tribute to Jim Beam yourself. Cheers!
Here's a link to some more pictures from our visit to Louisville and the distillery in Clermont.
Tonight we will be getting a call from one of our favorite people in the cigar industry - Sam Leccia. We will be talking to Sam about how the new structure for Leccia Tabacco is going. What is new and what should we be looking for in the future.
We will be pairiing the Leccia Lucidor with some Rebel Yell Bourbon. We are looking forward to this pairing.
What goes together better than cars, drinking, and laughs?....What?.... Oh well actually our lawyers are saying that came out wrong....
How about just kicking back and talking about cars and the car-guy's world while enjoying a stiff drink, or tasty brew? Ok we've been told that's better. We will attempt to cover all of those bases in this weekly show where we present to you as much probably less-than-factual news, reviews, and updates on stuff car guys care about! What the hell is going in new cars and in our car-centric culture in general? Find out with Matt and Jay every week!
This week we alter our state of minds, and return to a time in automotive history when boost crazed engineers were running the production lines! Matt and Jay connect the dots between the wild forced induction 80's, and the coming storm of turbo powered domestic vehicles! In keeping with the "AMERICA F#$K YEAH!" theme we tap into the cask of one of our country's greatest exports, and along with Professor Petrol discover the glory of the Bourbon Trail. Please keep up with the conversation as always on Twitter @TheWheelMenShow, and Instagram! Of course you can always grab visuals from our stories, videos, and links to our episodes on our FB page - Facebook/TheWheelMen. Thank you for downloading!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Vince and been shouting about how great the Charred Oak Bourbon is and now it is time to see. The challenge has been thrown down to see if the rest of the crew is as impressed with it as is Vince. We will also have one of the owners - Robert Kennedy calling in to share his story of how Charred Oak Spirits came about.
Man-O-War Dark Roast by A.J. Fernandez will be the cigar of choice tonight. We are told it will pair excellent with a smoky bourbon
Childhood foods? How things we ate as kids we will not touch as adults - or do we?
Well Vince turns 49 and before he goes completely senile we will celebrate with a good cigar! Looks like we will be burning the Ashton VSG cigar tonight. Probably pairing it with some bourbon and or rum!
We will see what other fun we can have tonight before he get to old to enjoy it!
Tonight we will be doing something a little different. We are going to do a cigar swap. We will all bring in a cigar that we enjoy and hand it over to another member of the crew. The other person will hopefully get to see what the other crew member llikes about that cigar.
Vince's brother will be sitting in with us tonight. It has been a while since we have had Chuck on the show. He is always a welcome visitor.
Well we are back to our Thursday night shows! It has been almost a year since we did a Thursday night show and we miss them. We can kinda let our hair down more (what we have left) and cut loose since we only have one more day of work not 3!

Tonight's show will be awesome as we visit with some old friends! We will have old crew member Drew sitting in with us. It has been a long time since we have have had a cigar and drink with him! We will also be getting a call from our Great Friend - Jack Torano! We treasure everytime we get to talk with Jack. Not only is he a great friend to the show but to the entire crew! We are happy to hear from him and also want to promote the great brand he is now with - Roberto Duran Cigars! We love them!
We will be smoking the new Punch - Signature Cigar. It is a new release and we will see how this floats amongst the crew.
