Jiggley Jones won the hearts of ArtSees Diner Radio a spell back and now he is back with his new single, "Walk On Me." When asking Jiggley "how do you classify your genre of music?" Do not be surprised to get an answer such as; "I sing Jiggley-esque!" Some people you just cannot box in, and categorize. Jiggley is exactly that type of singer/songwriter.
However you want to look at this picture, whether it’s Americana, Wide Open Country, or acoustic whatever, this artist represents life, hope, and human nature as only a seasoned person can see it. His Top 5 Roots Music Report debut EP, (#3, Americana/Roots Country, #3 True Country) No Spring Chicken included the singles “Baby Blue” and “Ain’t That Alright,” and the accompanying videos, which received more than 300,000 combined Youtube views. Now, Jones is returning with his first album on Lamon Records Nashville. A Mountain, A Struggle, A Tunnel, A Light was produced by Grammy nominee, Dave Moody. First single and video, “Walk On Me” were released in April 2014.

Mary E., welcomes singer/songwriter Kimberley Rew to ArtSees Diner Radio for a little chat about then and now. We will be spinning 2 of his new songs recorded with Shagrat Records.
Kimberley Rew first came to notice in the late 1970s as a member of Robyn Hitchcock's Soft Boys.
In 1981 Rew made a solo single backed by American band the dBs before helping to form Katrina and the Waves, and writing 1985's evergreen Walking on Sunshine (produced by Pat Collier and Scott Litt). The Bangles also recorded Rew's Going Down to Liverpool. Katrina and the Waves toured opening for the Kinks, the Beach Boys, and Squeeze among many others. Rew concurrently guested with Ashley Hutchings, Robyn Hitchcock, Julian Dawson and Boo Hewerdine.
In 1997 Katrina and the Waves won the Eurovision Song Contest for the UK with the Rew composition Love Shine a Light.
In 1999 Rew rejoined Robyn Hitchcock for the Jewels for Sophia album and tours. In 2001 the Soft Boys reconvened to rerelease their Underwater Moonlight album (now hailed as a gem from the vaults), and to tour and record.
Rew has released four solo albums in the present century.
"According to a former employee of EMI "Walking on Sunshine was the crown jewel in EMI's catalog," and that it was one of EMI's biggest earners from advertisers."
Aidan Nolan relocated from Australia to New York in 2005. As well as fronting some of Australia's more popular bands, aidan has written music for film and television plus contributed vocals to recordings for a range of Australian and UK artists. He has had two albums of original songs released internationally to critical acclaim and an ever-increasing "cult" following in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Recent additional releases included European club re-mixes exclusively for "in-club" DJ use. Aidan's career has included a number of musical "firsts" for Australian artists. His initial record label had so much faith in aidan's writing and vocals that his first single was the most expensive recorded in Australia
Now sitting at #1 on his respective reverbnation charts he is poised and ready to once again hit new heights. In the last two years, there has been a huge resurgence of interest and support for the work of vintage Australian singer songwriter aidan nolan. The quality of his
work has rocketed him to the top of the Reverbnation charts in the highly competitive New York market and his label, Two Faced Records, has received enquiries from the US, UK, Europe, Australia and Asia about further releases.Having re-located from Australia to the US a few years back aidan has written music for film and TV in Australia and charted on commercial radio in the UK and Europe before arriving here. It now seems that a much wider and younger audience has discovered this writer for his lyrical intelligence and perception in combination with highly approachable melody. Further, aidan is fast becoming known for the diversity of musical genres he can approach and still do great credit to himself within. In partnership with multi-award winning producer and arranger Stephen Lightbody.
