This week, Roundtable with Stephanie Robinson takes on the Boston Marathon Bombings and the age-old question of security vs. liberty. At the Roundtable are Juliette Kayyem, columnist for the Boston Globe and a mainstay on CNN throughout its coverage of the events; Senator for Massachusetts William “Mo” Cowan; Eric Hauser, democratic strategist and owner of the progressive communications firm, the Hauser Group; and Harvard Law Professor Ronald Sullivan.
Is there really such a thing as national security? What are our privacy rights as we grapple with the threat of domestic terror? Did the incident leave public officials wishing for some absent tool of government to improve safety now or in the future?
Roundtable guests take on these questions and more, all while listeners ask questions and share their experiences about the bombing and its aftermath. Time to gather at the Roundtable as Stephanie Robinson leads the discussion on hot topics, deep talk and a little bit of uplift. Roundtable with Stephanie Robinson...pull up a chair.

The guys end up talking this week about Stephen A. Smith and his suspension after putting his foot into his mouth on "First Take," Gennady Golovkin's path of destruction, the return of Anderson Silva - who will face Nick Diaz next year during UFC's huge Super Bowl weekend show, the Oakland Raiders contemplating moving to San Antonio, and David Price staying put with the Tampa Bay Rays as well as his beef with David Ortiz.
When sports dramas keep getting more and more asinine, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo are here for the people (AKA the buffoons).
The Ray Rice domestic violence saga seems to be one that will never end. Did Rice's two game suspension by the NFL provide justice? Is NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's hypocrisy the main reason for the uproar? Did Rice's wife do other battered women a disservice, by politicing with the NFL to be easy on her abuser?
If only Rice's actions were the only issue. Stephen A Smith had some foot-in-mouth disease on ESPN's First Take TV show. Even though Smith's comments were wrong, can Mike maybe try to decifer what the intended message was? Does punishing a controversial media personality heel for sparking controversy, as he's hired to do, hypocritical and asinine from ESPN?
You want winners in this mess? Look no further than the NFL and ESPN. They're both laughing and laughing and laughing straight to the bank.
Ray Rice isn't the only person to bring scandal to the shield recently. What could Tony Dungy have done to avoid the backlash he's received, after his statement on Michael Sam? Does having Michael Vick's mentor and defender on his resume make Dungy a hypocrite while stating he'd avoid the distraction around Sam's homosexuality?
Even though the NFL is all over the headlines, Major League Baseball is in the midst of its most exciting time, the Trade Deadline. Who will be moved? And which teams have the most pressure to seize the damn day?
They're often controversial. They're always (at least Mike is) right. Don't want to hear them? It's simple. DON'T LISTEN. With or without you, the Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer sports radio, one day, at a time....
