Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes author Ian Dickerson and author Will Graham to the studio.  Both of these authors are the authorities on all things "TheSaint", Simon Templar, starring Roger Moore, among others.  About Ian:  Ian  was 9 years old when Return of the Saint first aired.  When The Saint returned to TV in the 1980s he  ran The Saint Club, an organisation for folks interested in the work of Simon Templar and the adventures of Leslie Charteris.. A thorough examination of The Leslie Charteris Collection at Boston University  led to a number of articles of the Saint’s career. He’s also written, produced and directed documentaries on the making of The Saintand Return of the Sain. About Will:  Will Graham a professional investigator specializing in computer forensics and electronic evidence. His interest in The Saint began when he was around 7 years old, thanks to the series starring Sir Roger Moore. Will's musical tastes stopped with The Rat Pack, and he still reads Leslie Charteris.

    Football Playoffs Approaching

    in Sports

Where has time gone?  Week 16 in the NFL, and Felix and Annie are here to talk abou the matchups.   There are some great games this week (including Saturday!), and we'll feature our picks and talk about playoff implications.  We will also preview the Pats game against the Jets.  Still important for New England to play well as Denver is still very much in the mix, so should be fun to witness a beat down on the Jets.  We might also touch up the Rondo trade, the trade of Will Middlebrooks (Annie is excited!), and why the Bruins suck so bad.  Tune in for the late night edition, we would love to hear from you!

The Ed Boston Podcast - Chad Robichaux Interview

    in Christianity

    http://www.mightyoaksprograms.org/chad_robichaux_bcpc

Chad Robichaux leads Serving California’s Might Oaks Warrior program – which treats soldiers, vets and their families who are suffering from PTSD.  Chad served 8 tours in Afghanistan (Special Forces), he received the Medal of Valor for her service in law enforcement, he has his PhD, his MBA, he’s a pastor, a best selling author and a professional MMA Fighter.  He has an amazing life, but most of all, he and his family are dedicated to sharing their story of their struggle with PTSD – and how Chad has survived.  There is a terrible statistic right now – 23 Vets and/or soldiers commit suicide each day. Their is currently an 80-90% divorce rate among soldiers.  Chad’s Mighty Oaks Warrior program is a faith-based program that is endorsed by the military – they don’t use any medications – and they are honored to show that there are no suicides and no divorces from any soldiers who have gone through their program.

  • Part I of a II part Series "Forget the Wheel Jesus Drive The Car"

    in Women

This is part I of a II part series in the "Keeping It Real" segment!

Too many of us have kept silent; kept our feeling to ourselves while those who we protect have walked over us and disrespected us too. We need to learn how to address what is hurting us and all that makes us unhappy.  Sometimes we cannot do it oureslves so we try to get others to take the Wheel for us instead of allowing Jesus to drive the car so we will have no reason or doubts about moving forward!

So many ask Jesus to take the wheel from the passenger seat.  Time to let him drive the car and you sit on the passenger side!
