The Flash (Grant Gustin) faces a new meta-human named Tony (guest star Greg Finley, “Star-Crossed,” “Secret Life of the American Teenager”), who can turn himself into girded steel at will. While Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) are concerned about Barry’s safety, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) comes up with a plan to take Tony down. Meanwhile, Iris’s (Candice Patton) blog on The Flash gets her into trouble, and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) witnesses Tony’s abilities firsthand and begins to ask questions that Joe (Jesse L. Martin) doesn’t want answered. Joe asks Dr. Wells to help him solve Nora Allen’s murder. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Jaime Paglia & Chris Rafferty.
This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the ministry of Iesous as the one who bore our pain. All persons experience pain in this life. Life is filled with painful events. There are those who cause pain to others, and those who are the victims of painful behavior. The human condition is such that a Savior is needed. If Iesous did not exist it would be necessary to invent him.

St. Columbanis - Columbanus of Bobbio The founder of several European monasteries, St. Columbanus was born c. 543 in Leinster, Ireland, and was educated at Bangor. Late in life (c. 590), he left Ireland to establish, at the invitation of King Childebert of Burgandy, a monastery at Annegray. He founded monasteries at Luxovium (Luxeuil) and at Fountaines as well. In 603, a synod accused him of keeping Easter by the Celtic date, although the real charge seems to have been criticizing the lax morals of the Burgundian court. Columbanus appealed to Gregory the Great, but nothing is known of the outcome of this act. Seven years later, Columbanus left Burgandy to preach to the Allemani of Switzerland; when Burgandy captured Switzerland, he fled to northern Italy, where he established a monastery at Bobbio in 613. His monasteries were known for the strictness of their rules (which the Benedictines later ameliorated) and their emphasis on corporal punishment. In addition to his rule for monks, Columbanus wrote a peneteniary and poems.

As a Jamaican born, nationalized citizen of the USA, I had to learn some key historic moments in order to sit and pass my citizenship test. I am thankful to be here - and yes, I came here legally.
The desire for religious freedom was integral to the flood of people who came to this land, and while hoards of immigrants still come here, and want to come here, religious freedom is no longer the goal. There is a cycle I have observed and want to share.
Faith to move into the unknown often brings incredible blessing. Blessings lead to abundance. Abundance often leads to greed. Greed leads to jealousy and a disregard for others, which leads to the a love of self over others. The self-serving spirit leads to apathy, and an increase in crime. Apathy and an increase in crime leads to abject poverty. Abject poverty leads to seeking freedom and opportunity elsewhere. Seeking freedom and opportunity elsewhere leads to immigration to other places. The cycle of immigration, assimilation, population expansion, and redistribution continues.
Maybe if this season we remember why this nation got great. Focus on being thankful for what we have; give generously to those we love, and those who need some love, and be in a spirit of thanks-giving, this Thanksgiving - we might bring more joy into our lives and the lives of others as we shift focus from the negative to the positive things about this season, and the reason we celebrate it

Whether you are Jewish or Christian or Muslim, you know the story of Hagar, the Egyptian woman who Sarah chose to have the first born son of her husband Abraham. This incident seems to be at the root of the centuries old conflict between the Muslims and the Jews, a conflict that has spread to nations across the globe, created bitter wars over land rights to Israel and Palestine and spawned terrorist groups who are wreaking havoc across the world. Who was Hagar? Was she just a handmaiden to Sarah or much more? How did the birth of her son Ishmael cause the ongoing religious rivalry between Jews and Muslims? What is the spiritual remedy to this conflict that has engulfed the world community? Dr. Pat Darrah sheds light on an ancient mystery of the identity of this significant woman in history in her new book "Hagar: Finding Light In The Wilderness."
