Thirller author James Hankins discusses writing on Authors on the Air LIVE

    in Books

Authors on the Air Global Radio Network host Pam Stack welcomes thriller novelist James Hankins.  I truly enjoy having James visit the show. He's a savvy guest, a terrific writer and a wonderful guest host (listen to his podcast with Daniel Palmer).  Tonight we will discuss the craft of writing a thriller novel and James's writing process.  He will also talk about his current release, THE PRETTIEST ONE.  Here's a little synopsis:  "When Caitlin Sommers finds herself alone in a deserted parking lot with blood on her clothes and no memory of the past few months, it seems like one of the nightmares that have tormented her for years…but it’s all too real. Desperate to learn the truth about where she’s been and what has happened to her but terrified of what she may find, Caitlin embarks on a search for answers. Her journey takes her from the safe suburban world she knows to a seedy town she’s never heard of, where a terrible truth from her past lies hidden—a truth she can’t quite remember yet can’t completely forget." Talking heads ,book nerds Stephen Campbell & Pam Stack discuss books and authors

    in Books

In a very special presentation, tonight former colleagues and author interviewers Stephen Campbell, host of the Author Biz and Pam Stack, host of Authors on the  sit down to discuss authors, books and interviewing.

Join these two book nerds for a LIVE chat about the best job in the world.

About Stephen Campbell:  Before getting into the business of writing I spent twenty-five years in the technology business as a financial guy, and then as a serial entrepreneur. I know what it takes to start and run a successful business. Will that experience translate into me becoming a successful author? Ha! The answer is no, of course not. But I did learn a few important lessons while running my own businesses. One of those was importance of being guided by experts. I'll be bringing those experts in on a weekly basis so we can all learn from them.

About Pam Stack:  I've always been a voracious reader plus a public speaker so when I was asked to co-host a radio talk show, it seemed like the natural next step for me.  I love hosting the Authors on the Air radio show and being the executive producer of the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network.  I get to speak to the most interesting people; I'm the luckiest blabber-mouth in the world.

A Woman with (No) Strings Attached~

Lucie had always found skiing far more exciting than sex. That is until one day, the sex got better.??For years she had thought orgasm was an unattainable myth, but after a lifetime of boring, conventional sex with her husband, the 58 year old family doctor discovers an entirely new side to her personality. ??She joins an internet site for adults looking to meet for sex just for sex’s sake, not connected with love, or meant as a gift for the other person. ??Unusually, this was the idea of Lucie’s new American partner Tom, who lives apart from her in New York. Tom has voyeuristic tendencies and he is excited by her detailed reports as she contacts, meets, and sexually explores a variety of men. Tom and Lucie in her guise as her alter ego, Adrienne, delight in uncovering this daring and unconventional new aspect to her character. ??Both are having fun, but will Tom always accept Lucie’s erotic liaisons, or is the bubble destined to burst? A Woman with (No) Strings is an unusual and explicit memoir of one average woman’s journey to not-so-average sexual enlightenment.
